9inch. i'm sold. i was just looking at kali mist but dont want to take that long. the short flowering time of nl is great and the description sounds great to. I can get those seeds for sure but any other i would think about working something out. But for now i have too many seeds coming. But i'll start the nl next week so the large plants i have now will be basically done. I'll make sure i get the real strain from serious seeds. Serious seeds are pop at every shop here. they'll be started in no time. make sure you start a journal. its a classic strain for sure. i have to grow it.

9inch been looking at pics. going to def get this strain for the top of the cab. plus it looks easy to lollipop and clone. looks like an easy plant to grow. plus i got an extra foot or so of space in the lowryder grow so i can easily keep a nice mother plant. 20 of those lollipopped should yield nice. i'll keep them under 2 feet for sure. I'll put the pots side by side in hydro. Basically touching. i'll put as many in 2x4 as i can. let me know what you decide to do.

ill start to put up new pics when i get up to speed iv got a batch of CMs in clone ready to go in to flower with in the next 2-3 weeks. over your side of the water you dont hear much of NFT grows (uk thing) so much watch this sapce and you will see what NFT can do! lol the best method iv ever used!. once i find the NL moter ill devote a 1/4 of the grow to show you what it turns out like.

p.s

cuttings flowerd as soon as they are cut if its a good yeilding plant it will finnish around 12" tall and yeild an oz or so, if you veg for 10 days they will finish around 18" and and yeild a bit more, but 18" plants need to be under strong light such as HPS if you keep the plants to around 12" under your T5 it will yeild loads

9inch. i'm thinking no pots and just 4 inch rockwool cubes side by side touching. 4 per square foot. And def flower small. But i dont want to buy more lights so i'll use 3 150 hpss. I really want to start it tomorrow. gonna get a nice huge shallow rubbermaid and make a mash for underneath so the cubes wont fall in but wont need pots. i'll just leave the wrapper on the cubes. in 2x4 i could fit like 32 plants. man i cant wait to start. but ive been spending like crazy. keep me posted.

"Photosynthetically active radiation is most definitely not rated in joules"

Please point out where I stated that?

And a watt is one joule per second, not the other way around. Learn your basic electrical engineering before trying to debate a technical term. You cannot say one watt per second because a KILOWATT-HOUR is the measurement of power usage over a period of time.

You're so uneducated that it has in fact ceased to be funny.

Here's a little something I picked up in elementary.... If A = B..... and B = C.... then A = C. All these measures you're throwing around are convertible and interchangeable. You're arguing semantics and I'm talking physics.

Given:
a = b
a² = ab
a² - b² = ab - b²
(a+b)(a-b) = b(a-b)
(a+b) = b
a+a = a
2a = a
2 = 1

Your Elementary FAILS against basic Calculus. And you apparently know jack shit about physics as well.

so in 15 pages there is still no 20+ bulb t-5 setup?? did i miss it?? i only skimmed for pics....i didnt really think i was going to see that many t-5s in one room hps and mh would be much cheaper and be way better for a large op:)

yah a couple pages back it was decided after several hundred watts of t5s a large cooled hps would be easier. lol

I think the closest we're going to see of a large-scale T5 grow is Victor Vicious' 4 fixture flood tables, but he has since switch to H.I.D. :lol:

it was calculated that at around 500 watts t5 its easier to cool hid.
I'm running 432w T5HO and it does get warm in the closet. Of course I have no ventilation set up, yet. The room I am building is being done one step at a time and checked out after every step, so that may be remedied after the closet has hit final stage.

theres always some tweaking you can do. but i wouldnt get into that. the wattage is drawn by the bulb so you might as well just buy 2 fixtures. t5s are not variable in wattage at all. a 54 watt must be run at 54 watts

Apparently that's not the case with some T5HO bulbs, as they have special dimmers for them, at least for primary color T5HO lights.

So it's possible that you could overdrive the bulb, though it's not recommended as heat output would increase and bulb life would decrease, and those bulbs are a wee bit more expensive than your T12 or T8. ;)
