The old stamp story is a funny one! That is the guy. He has a way about him and I don't judge and all that but I also have a gut and that guy was setting off my gut like crazy. At any rate, disorganization and unprofesionalism are my pet peaves so it's obvious what I gots to do. Hope this new MMP market is a little better. I'm going to call and see if they answer the phone number. that's a really nice indicator right there....joe and his crew don't answer and don't return calls. At least not mine. If joe has a deal with anyone...that's dirty dealings right there and if he don't and said he did that's what's up. I'm out of it. Thanks guys. I'll report from a vendor perspective after I do some bidness at this new market. Anyone been yet? Guess it opened November 1 so probably not alot of you have yet.

If tax stamps were used to lead us into prohibition, maybe they can be used to lead us out ;)

Maybe it will. I think that would be fitting. Stamps tend to change things... Remember the Townshend Act (my family has a long history with stamps)? It lead to freedom too...

one thing I'd like to say even before I go. There was another site that had a thread about this market with some false info on it. Specific quote from William just now over the phone: "Pricing is entirely up to you- if you want to get rid of meds for 10 cents a gram donation you can, we don't interfere with the pricing" not sure if it was in response to the thread I read or what but he assured me that there is no price cap or low limit. I was worried about the CAP homie not the minimum! LOL dirt merchants are worried about that low limit I want to make sure I can get what I'm worth and that's the HIGH limit BABY (or lack thereof), know what I'm sayin sayin J rock!

C&T, I do believe you are correct about the response to that thread. It was good to see their accommodation and it showed me they are willing to work with folks to improve their service. IMO they handled themselves pretty well in conflict ...

You sound like a man with a plan , Dr Bob mentioned the Townshend Acts it is some interesting reading , I guess the same shit has been going on for over 200 years , different players and different circumstances but still the same shit , I think if I understand it right the Marijuana Stamps were never issued and without it the growing of Marijuana would be illegal . Is the stamp law still in effect and could a group file a lawsuit and possible obtain a stamp and then legally grow Marijuana , we could all then join the group ?

Actually it was tricker than that. You had to bring the crop to Washington DC to get the stamps, but it was illegal to take it across state lines. Cool, wasn't it.

Lots of hatred toward 3MA & CPU in the mj community from what I have heard. Are you affiliated with CPU Dr. Bob? What denomination is CPU? Aren't they the compassion club only, cuz we have compassion clubs, denomination? I think CPU is anti-dispensary, pro-division from what I have heard. Dr. Bob has an office in Marquette's dispensary. So all that doesn't really add up.
I am pretty sure rollitup.org is pro-legalization, pro-decriminalization, pro-dispensary, pro-recreational, pro-farmer's market, pro-compassion club, pro p2p, pro fuck the police. That has always been my understanding.

i couldn't have said it better!!

cpu the secret organization for stake holders only--doctors lawyers and legal professionals coming together to clarify our law for us--oh and a few patients..

snuggled up nice and tight with the legs and no one else is privy or allowed input into their work--

they are definately the ones that have worked on the 4bills going thru the legislature and have been doing a fine job keeping any sort of momentum from patients to oppose these bills--they say they don't want/need input!

NO ONE is allowed at their stakeholder meetings-except their stakeholders--you figure it out
i mean if it looks like a duck---or turd as Gladstone likes to refer to

dr bob is definately alligned with the CPU group--and looks like he is soliciting business here--or spewing more of their unambiguous compliance rhetoric--

i even smell the bona fide crap in his posts--
get ready to keep detailed records if that bona fide language is codified into law---many will be left out or not be able to qualify

and guess who's pushing that

i wish they would stay on their CPU site--I mean MCP or the 3masite ...
the arena they have created to attack unsuspecting noobs

division is what they are all about and they smack of covert agenda--but of you read enough they are only trying to keep the CG-5patients thru CC model...that's what they are trying to defend and protect--sorta a business model they have spent a lot of time working on

they can sell that to all the dispensaries that are all over the place-
farmers market is my proffered model--leaves control in the growers and patients hands

the CPU group does not like that!

CC are dead and even saying the word CC is an oxymoron--they are still trying to sell the herb to their 5patients connected jargon--what's the difference between that and a dispensary?
and IMO they want to heard us into that box

after all isn't the language in the law allow CG-CG to facillitate uninterrupted supply?
i am of the opinion we are all connected thru the registry
go check out the collectives and co-ops in Ypsilanti and Ann arbor

there are warehouse grows all over the place--oak park too

i totally agree with glad and the whole group smells funny--even the Dr

i damn sure am not gonna get a cert from a dr that engages patients on mmj forums with rhetoric from a group that is over the top in secrecy--

i see no other drs on any forums bickering or arguing with patients--that in itself is an oxymoron and divisive to the core
the folks that support him here is all good for them but there are many fine cannabis docs out there will do just as much

can you feel my ill will towards this group?
good cuz I joined this site to get away from their BS and now it's bleeding into here--

this is RIU--let's keep it that way

and fuck all the groups with agendas--and drs

Wow, tell us how you really feel. You seem very angry. Sorry about that.

Don't mean to sound cynical, but that was such an angry post I don't know if I should simply ignore it, correct the information, or offer to discuss it.

I do believe in unambiguous compliance because it keeps people safe
I do favor farmers markets and have said so
I don't mock 1 caregiver 5 patients, I support compassion clubs based on education and political support, and I don't support warehouse commercial grows as they are not covered under the act, nor were they what the majority of the folks that supported the MMMA were voting for.

If you don't like me and the things I support, that's fine. I sincerely doubt you know anything about CPU so you resort to making stuff up. If the board does not want my input on things, or information from me, let me know and I'll stop posting. From the numbers of likes, pm's thanking me for explaining things and providing information, as well as the overall good comments my posts seem to get from people that like the caregiver system, I don't think that is the case. But feel free to speak up if you do.

I am not for, or against, Dr. Bob.
I do not know his intentions.
When politics of mj laws arise, it's always a bunch of bullshit.
I am not good with those areas.
I was happy a Dr was online to discuss things like PTSD, depression, crohn's, spinal stenosis, shit like that.
When politics and other michigan mj sites, and the personal jabs back and forth continuously come up, then
there is a need for others to take sides. It's hard to take sides without knowing the facts. I just don't have the
time and energy to do all the research on everyone. That's all.

true to a point .but that lot of bullshit is what is going to take away our ability to be patients .what happens when you wake up one day and dont have the mmmp

I hear what you are saying. Completely. If shit turns out, I need to see a doctor regularly. Then I am 1. Mad as fuck. 2. Partially to blame.
I don't have the information to make an educated decision. It's tough. It's frustrating. Being a patient and/or a caregiver we are always
constantly wondering just how many people ARE for us and against us. How can you know?
I need to stay away for the politics till I have more facts. I get facts everyday though.

Fair enough man. I'm just happy to be here and help those that are interested in what I say. Never ask folks to take side, just to keep things respectful and discuss information, not people. It really doesn't matter if I am a good person or a bad person, that has nothing to do with information or truth. I post as me, and my thoughts and opinions are mine. Use them as you wish and do what you think makes sense.
