I use superglue to glue live coral to the rocks in my saltwater coral reef tank...They're super sensitive, but cyanoacrylate based superglue doesn't even phase them...
Pics please! I am scared as shit of doing a salt tank. Too much shit to worry about and the fish are expensive! I used to have a 55gal cichlid tank and raised an Albino Oscar to be able to hand feed him. He lasted 5 years and was bigger than my hand when he passed. Haven't done a tank since. :(

I don't actually have any fish...just a shitload of different corals, 3 hermit crabs, 1 Emerald crab, and a bunch of snails...I don't have any recent pics of the new tank, but here's some pics of some of my corals in my Quarantine tank...

Yeah, that is called a "Ricordea Florida Mushroom", and I have 4 all together, all different colors. They're SICK! When I first got into the hobby last November, I was AMAZED at all the stunningly unnatural looking colors of these things...lol...Definately a nice way to flush your disposable income down the drain.

I have an acrylic tank waitin for life. Fish store guy told me to cycle water with live rock ( I forgot for how long). He said its not as difficult as (freshwater tank owners) think. I got a 100 gal. cichlid tank and a 60 gal tank(rams, barbs, tetras, bettas). I feel ya Angry though. It looks intimidating, but so did cannabis (especially indoors)(and cost).

Well, to be honest, if you're willing to do a lot of regular maintenance on it, it can be pretty easy to trasfer over. Though, the larger the tank, the more expensive the investment, cause you NEED lots of live rock for filtration...I have 2 little saltwater tanks, my display tank and my quarantine tank. They're 4 gallons each, and the display tank is hooked up to a home made 10 gallon sump...All my shit is ghetto rigged in place, cause the build is half the fun, for me.

I also have a 36 gallon bowfront tank...It holds my 2 little itty bitty goldfish whom I've named "Chips" and "Fish"...I eventually wanna convert that to a 36 gallon Saltwater tank so I CAN have some saltwater fish, but my current SW tanks are only large enough for a small Goby each, and I desire a more free-swimming fish.

But...if u DO decide to start a SW tank, I can shoot you some good beginner corals.

Thanks for the offer but I assure you it's going to be a couple years off still. I want to do it right and I will be starting from scratch. I may hit up CL and barter my way into one that could get me started a little sooner. :)

Well, if you have any interest in setting one up, or have any questions in general about SW, I'm far from an expert, but I've read a LOT on the subject so far.

Once again sorry for threadjacking, Kush :)

@ Meta - I would rather have a fish and rock tank in the big one, and eventually start a coral garden in a little tank. Those are fricken Awesome! Im interested in this as a hobby also, Would love to learn from others like how RIU does for Cannabis. Ur setup is beautiful!

No problem man..
A thread is not a thread if it stays on topic from start to finish
Where's the fun in that ?
Id rather read a dictionary front to back lol

I was actually given a 80 gallon tank for free when I was cleaning out a garage in hayward, but i didnt have a use for it at the time so I sat it in front of my house and somebody picked it up in about 2 hours ...
