I haven't tried it yet but I believe you do have to give it some time to bounce back. I think that subcool mentioned that it takes a bit for them to recover but I am sure that you can hit Budologist420 or nugbuckets threads.

I have an Orange Bud going that I did 16 tops with, total veg time was 48 days from seed and gain the height I wanted to go to flower with, I gave her 3 extra days or so for the 8 extra tops. The first set of plants I ran 45 days veg as I wanted them at least 3 to 4 inches above the frame work to keep the middle open and give support. Like Budologist refered to your veg time relates to how tall you want them to be going into flower given the amount of stretch the plant will have and how much space you have to grow in vertically.

I was wondering this about mainlining. Also, i'm guessing for mainlining you would have to veg in your finishing size pots? if so that is where i would run into problems.

On second thought I'm not gonna mainline them this go around as I'm really just pheno hunting . When I find one I really want to grow again ill try and main line the clones next go around.

I got about 10 seeds from a 1/4 of Romulan
So I know for sure its a cross of romulan now the male they crossed it with (or didn't pull early enough ) I have no idea but I grew some of the beans out this summer and they all had some nice coloring once they got to about week 4 of flower.

i have some beans from JDP romulan, but i never got purp out of em. but have grown many other purple strains. romulan was to mild for my tolerance but i hope you find what you looking for. Your KushXOJ man you should be growing out some dank kush

I'm gonna be ordering some official seeds soon. These seed companies should be havin some Christmas promotions going on soon right ?...
From what I can tell so far growing from weed is way better then clones. I'll try and start from seed from now on unless I see a elite clone I just have to have.
Imma have to slide by the kush lovers thread for some ideas of which kush strain i should get .

yeah growing from seed is way better than from clone, but clones can still rock, and its great to be able to know almost exactly what your dealing with when you grow a clone

Hell, it's nice to know exactly what you get from seed as well. i love testing crosses, but i keep stable seeds in my stash if i need a go-to grow and i need what i know.

seeds are not able to produce the almost exact same plant as a clone can. with seeds there are different phenotypes with almost all strains, and you still have the chance that the plant is male

All strains have different pheno's. but with a stable strain, you will know what you are in for if it was indeed bred for a particular trait, all pheno's will be somewhat similar with an offshoot here and there. When popping ibl's you should be seeing 1 or 2 pheno's for females.
