there is a few, which involves butane or 100% pure alchol but id avoid it, there is one process using 100+ proof everclear, which i think should be a better process.
I can check into the info and hook ya up. im just uncertain on how much oil you can extract from how much? I read somewhere where someone got about
12oz of oil out of 64 oz sack (4 lbs?) somehow..

im still interested in growing soon, just taking in all the info i can take before starting, plus working on the road often makes things complicated a little.
im still curious as how much area can your 250w or a 300w LED cover? 9x9 room? at which height? less than 9x9? how can i figure out that math?
i thought a 300w could cover at least 8x8 room well but i could be wrong.

a 250 or 300 watt led would cover no more than 6 square feet in my opinion........most manufacturers give recommended footprint of the light and distance from canopy, but i no for sure 9x9 is definitely too big of an area for on led

Hi there,View attachment 1533422 a 300watt flowering led(approximated actual power draw) will cover and area 3 X 3 at a distance of about 10 inches from the canopy. A 300watt Veg only light will cover more because of the manner in which the blue content of light is absorbed by the plant for vegetative growth (more clorophyll A in the 440Nm range). However for flowering, a high amount of concentrated "red" light is needed and for this purpose you should stick to the 3 x 3 area or even slightly less. On the brighter side this just means that you should be able to grow the same amount of bud as a heavy yielding 600watt HPS but in a much smaller space ;-) It's all good. Well kush I hate to say it but you just sold another blackstar for gotham hydro lol. You should tell the victor dude to start givin you a cut. The plants lookk superb for 8 days into flower man. I was gonna ask though how was the trainwreck through your grow did you have any special nute requirements/issues? I'm gonna be growing a fem seed of it I don't know much about the strain but I heard it was killa. Anyway I gotta clean out my other closet cause my bagseed plants have outgrown my small grow box and are burning themselves on the cfls. I got two good females though. I'm running ten cfls and I don't have half the hairs you do. Anyway my plan for my big closet is one 240 watt blackstar and 10 26 watt cfls that'll put me at 500 watts of power. Well gotta get back to work hope those buds keep growin man, your shit is lookin good.

Oh yeah and I forgot to mention, I made some thc oil using alcohol one time and it was harsh as fuck I let all of it evaporate but still shitty. I suggest using butane in an open area lol don't blow your fingers off or you won't be able to light your shit man. If I had to choose between oil and just plain old hash I would just go with hash though and I found some pretty reasonable priced bubble bags recently. I just use my grinder and hash press and it works for me. The first time I hit some I almost passed out from the head rush lmao.

I got a 240 Blackstar bloom a couple months ago. I use it as supplementary, but damn it brings out the trichs. I call it my candy light. Hey Kush, do you plan on cleaning yours before next cycle? I know my 3 fans in it collect a lot of dust.

no, i dont think any strain requires anything special as far as nutrients are concerned.....the trainwreck grows very short and stocky, i've never tried trainwreck bud though......i have seen budding trainwreck online, the bud looks pretty sick

yeah, i think the hash may be a bit easier to pull off.....never dealt with hash before

You got any pics? I'm gonna use one for a primary light source and place cfl fixtures close to the bottom and pointing upward at an angle for supplement lighting I figure it'll help the lower buds develope.

I'm going to clean mine on the inside in about 2 weeks or so. I'll take some pics for you. Keep in mind that I am pretty clean and so is my space, but the 200+ cfm cooling it takes on as much air as some inlines. I know in my space alone it can recirculate the air in probably a little less than 1 minute.

thanks alot brother....i would definitely appreciate that......you kinda made me feel like my magic closet is dirty now...lol, im gonna clean it out as soon as the lights come on

im still debating, because according to this site, http://mvavaelectric.en.made-in-china.com/product/oeuJLalvHMWP/China-LED-Plant-Grow-Light-Panel-MVA-GL-300W-.html it says "The efficiency of 300W LED grow light equals to 1200W HID light, covers 50 sq. Ft." which is appx 7x7 if im correct? and if so, is that good or nope?

yeah the minimum LED coverage id be looking for would be at least maybe 6x6/6x8 probably better off getting 2 250w blackstar unless i could afford that 600w lol...

Damn,.. dont bother with that, try everclear... its one process i found out, because i was worried about the dangers of smoking thc oil after being extracted by alcohol or butane espically. it would be a little bit longer of course.

What i would do, is grind that shit and keep the kief for the hash, and use the rest of the shit with everclear to extract the rest of the THC in oil form. maximize what you can get out of your plants eh?

I wasn't meaning anything special as far as extra nutes. I just meant is it sensitive to nute burn/hard to grow like I've heard the original blueberry is. I've never grown anything but bagseed and I know a weeds a weed and its gonna grow but I've heard some strains are harder to grow than others.

Oh and after I grind it up and shit I smoke the weed man I just let the keif build up in the bottom and then use my press to make the hash. The grinder has a screen in the bottom of it that keeps the weed and keif seperate. Also if you make some hash you should try smoking it using hot knives. Its pretty cool lol.
