yeah initially when i started this grow i wanted to make sure it didnt get too crowded but it things never seem to go quite as planned

how much were those 240w blackstars. Nice grow btw kush.. is the gonzo controlling this 1 too?

i think they are going for about $270 now....and yeah the gonzo is handling this one too, i forgot to mention that


For all those who care to know.....the gonzo odor eliminator from home depot handles all my odor problems from veg all the way through drying........my magic closet is in my bedroom and the odor was totally under control......and when i say totally under control, i mean totally under control.............it only costs $6.99 by the way so its worth giving a try

Grandaddy, Im running one 300 watt panel in a 2 x 1.5 growbox, 8-10 inches away from my one Fire OG plant and the temperature is actually too low! I was thinking about getting a heater in my box, because it is only like 70 degrees in there! LEDs run so damn cool, I love it!

u dont need a heater a couple cfl's would work much better......more light, more heat..............one 42watt cfl adds about 2-3degrees to my closet

Day 3 of flowering and i just realized ive been screwed over by the hydro shop. i call myself making an up to a ph monitor from the test liquid and what a fucking mistake that was. the ph monitor came with a calibration certificate and all so i thought it was golden and i didnt double check it against the liquid before placing my faith in it. after a full 7 days of using the monitor plants now look like shit.....brown spots on the tops, all new growth is yellow, lower fan leaves shriveling and fall of, twisted new growth, yellowing leaves.....i dont know why i couldnt figure this out a couple days ago, but my ph is all fucked up......i get the ph 5.9 on the ph monitor which is about what i want and then today, finally double check it against the liquid and i got red.....fucking red...............thats basically 4.0 and under....so ive been running super acidic water in my garden for a week now.....what a bummer....smh





But..........on a lighter note, my roots look awesome......im not sure who gets the credit for that.......kinda scary lookin...lol

nahhhh, i just adjusted the ph according and hopefully they should be looking better in a coupe days.....im hoping

Damn Kush Grove! That really sucks! I just bought a Hanna meter that measures ph/ppm/temp, and it wouldnt calibrate with the GH 7.01, and 4.01 solution, so now I have to send it back! I use the drops before and when I checked it with my new meter it read 11.00, so I knew immediately that it wasnt calibrated. Otherwise, I would be doing the same thing you did! Im always going to calibrate my meter now! Goodluck with the babies recovery. Im praying for them!

Yeah dude, i got the same shitty hanna meter..........i went to the hydro shop today to get it calibrated and also picked up some calibration solution also.......so basically i calibrate is everytime i turn it on now

Hey man I just rejoined cause I forgot what my other account was under, but I'm lookin at the blackstar lights right now. I think if I can figure out a way to deal with heat I just gonna go with a 1000 watt hps/mh. Anyway my main concern is flowering with it I've had a couple grows turn out alright useing cfls but no big fat juicy buds like I wanted. Oh and I got a pic of my current bagseed plant in my profile I think that was at about 20 days. The bc recipe for success kit really works wonders man its my first dro grow and I had to cut one down already because it outgrew my box and I don't have the closet set up yet. Anyways good luck man and ima be watchin.

right on brother, keep posted.....if u dont go with blackstars there are a bunch of other led lights work wonders, these just happened to be the ones with the fairest price tag..i should be looking at some fat buds here in a few short weeks....1000watt hps in a closet, that sounds like trouble....unless its a huge closet

Could you tell me how you use the Gonzo - are they just bags laying around inside you grow cab??

i believe lighthouse recommends 4 square feet per 240w, so i wouldnt wanna tell you otherwise

the gonzo is just a bag of volcanic rocks that are extrememly porous and purifies the air around it

Yeah your right about the heat issue man but its a pretty big closet. My main concern is that sooner or later the closet may be needed to actually store stuff so I don't want to cut holes in my walls or ceilings. I just put my order in at attitude Thursday so I'm gonna watch how your grow goes with the blackstar and then make a decision. I'm definately a believer in leds though even my lil 14 watt panel worked good for veg to a certain degree. Ill try and get some pics up of my small cfl grow I got goin tonight. I have 9 cfls in a 2x2 space. Its just bagseed but it will work until the good shit gets here and hopefully that shit will get here quick lol. Anyway your plants look good man I'm subscribin man ill be watchin. Oh yeah I've never ordered from attitude before but I got white rhino, great white shark, cheese, lemon skunk, trainwreck, and bubbelicious (I know nirvanas isn't known for good phenos but hey who could resist bubble gum) so I will have my first "pro" grow posted as soon as they get here.
