Mexi-kush, mid dro... You hear all kinds of crap like that around here... I think a lot it'is quick-money dealers that don't know (or care) about the weed or their clients. They know in starved markets they can sell almost anything, especially if the give it a catchy name.

I meant they don't give it a strain name, it's just hydro. My phone screwed up, was saying they charge $20 a gram for what they call hydro.

I talked about the effects of some c99 to a buddy on the east coast and he goes "you must of got some of that loud. You know you open up the bag and the only way to describe it is loud"

'Loud'? WTF next? If someone came up to me and asked for some 'LOUD' I'd bark in their ears.

Come back when you know what you want. There are strain guides in the public library even.

I know a dude that is always name dropping. Kush, cronick, critical. I laugh.

I cought him once in a conversation. He did not know the difference between Sativa or Salvia.:blsmoke:

I was wondering the same thing here, and saw heretics answer....must be a regional thing, never heard that before. At first I thought it was a misspelling of doob
Funny thing this drug slang. Then again some people think it's stupid to say 'marijuana' instead of cannabis.

I met a nice man who came out of the convenience store to find me rolling around on the floor with his APB Terrier. The guy had 2 packs of RAWs in his hand and told me the dog's name was 'Dubz'. You can bet a knowing smile or two was exchanged.

More like 60 an eighth here. But it's good and not some ridiculous moniker. When I DO hear some outlandish name, then I get excited.

In case it wasn't obvious, I do not sell for $60/gram (I don't sell anything) nor do I grow supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

But, when people ask me what type of pot I have I grab a bit and toss it to them. "It's this type - hold it up to your nose, that's what it smells like; hold it up to your eyes, that's what it looks like; take a toke, that's what it tastes like. You're super stoned? Yeah, that's what the high is like." After that I might tell them what strain it supposedly is.

Here bud goes for $30/eighth 50/quarter.

This is pretty annoying but there's ways to validate the claims

any dealer claiming kush - kush is always indica or indica dominant, so there should be thick bushy and most of the time dense buds with short stump stems....as oppose to a sativa which is long and stalky buds attached to long thin stems.

to determine if it's actually blueberry, strawberry, OG, etc...it's in the smell. If a dealer is telling you "blueberry kush" but it's got no hint of blueberries in the smell then its BS. The only problem is telling the difference between natural and juiced up buds (putting fruit peels in the bag) but juiced up buds lose their fruity smell after a while.

Kush is usually indica and indica dominant.
Haze is usually sativa or sativa dominant
and Deisel is usually 50-50% hybrids something like that.

Do the dispensaries and dealers have prices that are similar? I haven't lived in california for almost 3 years now and I've only just started smoking about a year and a half ago.

Kind of... Prices depend on quality pretty much anywhere you go unless you have some sort of in with the dispensary/dealer. Of course tons of people in CA grow so having an in isn't too hard. Most prices are fairly standard though as there is so much competition.

I did however have someone the other day notice I was smoking and asked if he could purchase some off me. He said that it's standard to pay $20 or something for 3 blunts worth where he comes from - I have no idea what a 'blunts worth' is. IMO it's gotta be some shitty weed or shitty blunts at that rate.

Guess 2.1 for $20 makes sense. Kinda of crazy though - I roll 1g+ joints, I can't imagine a .7g blunt.

I miss high school. There was skunk, white widow, and G-13 - but anyone claiming to have G-13 was full of shit. Made it easy :)
