Kryptonite and Cherry Kush Clones Grow

Went to water last night to realize I should've watered the day before cuz they were both droopy. And on top of that I saw what looked like a small amount of aphids crawling around on the KG. Since they're both so young and buds aren't in full swing I hit them both with neem oil II.

As I mentioned the other day the SGK has grown TALL, now within 5" of the bulbs...

Wow, had a little scare with some spider mites moving in over night about 3 nights ago. Thankfully it's so early into flower I could still apply some neem oil these past 3 nights and I think they're gonna make it. Went around the whole inside of the house with Bayers home perimeter spray and dusted the carpets lightly with baking soda, not just fot the fresh carpet smell but cuz it has great anti-fungal/mold properties.

AND....these fuckers are getting freakin huge. The last KG I grew didn't get this tall. I'm concerned I might have to chop the tops off the tallest colas cuz now I've tied back the SGK some much now it's crowding into the KG's growing space

now that i've eliminated the mites with neem and the plants are recovering. they're getting dangerously close to the lights. i'm gonna have to cut each of the tallest branches to prevent overgrowth and plants burning up. i imagion it'll help put more more energy toward the rest of the lower bud sites

As I thought they both grew right up into the bulbs. Had to cut 6'' off 2 branches of each plant. The top leafs were all wilty looking cuz of the intense heat coming straight from the bulbs. The fan can only do so much to pull that cool air passed the big bulbs and dissipate the heat from more than 2'' away

The "now top bus" have compensated nicely after trimming off the over growth so early into flower

Those fucking mites decided to pop their little heads back in on my grow room again so I hit'em with the neem oil again. Other than losing a few leafs the bud sites haven't been affected. The kaya gold's fan leafs have even began growing some trics where the danker genetics of the SGK/Mr.N haven't but I'm holding out to see how frosty these buds get.

Called my friend in cali and told him of my mite problem and he suggested dusting the 2 with Diatomatious Earth. Applied it last night so I'm crossing my fingers at this point...

Sorry, if there's anyone still following along, I've been moving this past week and have had no time to post. Pics will be coming soon. The diatomatious earth alone didn't seem to be working so I've been applying a light misting of neem oil everyday now and things seem to be going good thus far. I think this little attack has stunted their growth slightly due to the mites eating all the chlorophil in the leafs to produce the buds...

Sucks to hear about the mites man. Those plants look healthy tho!

Well there's about 2 weeks left till I pluck all the tasty buds. Thankfully the mites have really died down since I've been hitting them with a light misting of neem oil and pyrethrins. Though my yield I'm certain has been affected thanks to them but regardless, I'm happy the mites didn't destroy my last 4 months of time and effort.

I dont know if I skipped over it, but did you get a dry weight on your kryptonite?

Oh snap! I completely forgot to post the weight lol. I yielded a grand total of 2.5 oz, a bit less than I had planned on. But since she was the 1st plant to go into the new dresser setup I wasn't entirely sure how tall and stretchy she was gonna get. Which is why I now have the 2 monsters growing within inches of the bulbs now that I know about what height to start flowering. You have to pop in on my newest thread in the Stealth/Mini grow area. I've got the next 2 contenders to go in, Orange Diesel and Kaya Gold. Both about to be transplanted to 2.5 gal buckets to finish out their lives.

1 last thing. With thanks to youtube I successfully made honey hash from butane made with the trimmings. Sadly I forgot to take a pics but it was fucking awesome! So tasty and stoney. Told my girl to hit my pipe cuz I had the reggie loaded in it cuz she can't always take the potentcey of the chronic, but I had frosted the bowl with some hash and she choke her head off and got so blazed lol. She didn't enjoy the head rush but enjoyed the buzz that followed
