Kryptonite and Cherry Kush Clones Grow

Sorry everybody I don't have pics of the big girl. Spent the night at my girls place and missed the timer cycle. But this morning I transplanted the 2 female beauty's to 2.5gal buckets. Gonna veg them for another 2-3 weeks. I want them to get all nice and tall and bushy. Still gotta construct a screen for their eventual scrog(ing) once they go into the dresser after the kryptonite.

And the temporary residents of the veg area are Sandia Pepper seedlings. I scored a couple handfulls from a roadside vender in Hatch NM. Looking forward to these eating some bomb-ass salsa buy late summer.

I promis new pics of these tasty buds coming tomorrow. I not leaving the house tonight so I will snap some fresh bud porn for ya'll

Yes they are. The Kaya Gold is a feminized seed and the MrN/SGK is just a regular seed, she started showing about 1.5 weeks ago. I've never grown a kush before and don't know if this 1 is just gonna grow straight and tall. But having grown the KG before it grows rather bushy.

These pics are from last years outdoor grow. Well they became outdoor plants because they over grew the flowering box I had at the time lol though sadly I got robbed after only 4 weeks into flower, The indoor plant was the only I got to enjoy. I still got 3.8 Oz's from the 1

Here's the kryptonite, looking all sexy like haha! She smells awesome, something like citrus rind, and that smell you get when you open a bag of gummy bears. I planing on cutting her down on wednesday or thursday. I'm going on a fishing trip monday and come back wednesday. So depending on how tired I am from the trip varies what day I clip lol so wish me luck guys

As rated by all the reviews, the Kryptonite has been put to rest. Rated an 8-10 week flowering she was a 9 weeker. Got back from my 3.5/4 day fishing trip and as I had planned she was ripe for the picking. With help yet again from my good friend with the trimming it all got clipped a lot faster. We began talking about what I would be making with the cannibutter I'll be making from all the trim, I decided on Tolehouse chocolate chip cookies.

You'll notice I included a pic of my very 1st piece I've ever owned, my cobalt blue "zong"(not official brand of course). I call it Rage Against The Machine for 2 reasons. 1, they're one of my favorite bands, 2, cuz it's Calm Like A Bong. I'm really looking forward to the 1st smoke in +3 weeks or so of curing. The scissor hash had to be scraped so many times and OOOOOOOOH BOY did i get ripped off of it lol!

The smell alone smelled like a mild orange flavored gummy bear. The high I got off the scissor hash was a good mix of head and body high. I'll definitely post an official smoke report in the weeks to come. Meanwhile I'm continuing this journal on through the flowering of KG and the Mr.N/SGK

Vegging is going beautifully. I gave them both their first feeding last night with 1/4 tsp of Bio Grow. Sadly I think I found a few small spots of mildew so just to be sure I sprayed with NEEM oil. As they've gotten so big this past week I now have them under 7 26w 65k's and 3 26w 27k's. Gonna have to get another 2pk of 65k's to finish out vegging till they go into the "dresser" to finish out.

Well FUCK!!! My girlfriends 3 year old son destroyed my camera today. Found it under his bead with the telescoping shutter all pushed in and contorted. Went to turn it on and all the screen said was imaging error and now refuses to work at all. I can't be mad at the kid, we've all done stuff like that at 3, but GOD DAM IT! My only grief with the issue is that I bought an awesome 16.2mp camera months ago only to be met with the fact that all the high amount of MP's they all require systems newer then Windows XP. So unless I can get it fixed I'm stuck without a camera till I can afford a whole new computer with the proper windows installed. Which means a whole lot more money than a camera alone...

Sadly a few of my posts were lost in the hack job of the servers here at RIU. The cherry kush bit the dust back in January, still not fully sure what claimed her life but I'm leaning toward mildew. The 2 clones gave me trouble since week 3 of me buying them. I was so glad the kryptonite pulled through, especially with the high rating percentage of thc(25-30%) i found in a few reviews of the strain

Ok, I couldn't help myself. I snagged a nug I've left out since the day I put everything to air dry. For the 1st smoke it was FUCKING AWESOME!! A smooth mildly sweet flavor with a citrusy undertone. Very stoney and I've been very 1 track minded. I feel kinda floaty in the head right now lol. It knocked my girlfriend the fuck out. Its potent as hell if she passes out like this hahaha!

Though my 1 critique of the buds is that they're kinda loose. Meaning 1 of 2 things. 1, I need more light in the cab, like 1 more of the 68w biggins I get from HD,...OR 2, I should've vegged it longer thus having it closer to the light that's currently in there...

Upon further thought, I think I'll go ahead and install another ceramic fixture and bulb putting another 4200 lumens down on the canopy to flower the other 2 in veg right now.

I've been enjoying the fruits of my labor a little earlier than I said lol The Kryptonite has more fruity hint. From pipe it has a very mild blueberry after taste, a bong an almost gatorade sweetness. And just yesterday a friend brought his vaporizer over and it literally tasted like a mouth full of grapes. My friend was highly surprised to see as much purple laced all throughout the buds interior.

The KG and Mr.N/SGK are about ready for transplant. Was gonna do it yesterday but realized I'm just about out of soil so I gotta wait till thursday when I get paid again. Just hope they don't get too bound up in their current containers till then.

I also went ahead and got the additional bulb and socket, and began to swap out the exhaust motor but ran into a snag. The higher powered motor mounts the opposite smaller 1 I'm currently using. Gonna test my skills in rigging with screws and ducktape lol

Omg I was soooo ripped on 4/20 and the kryptonite was with me the whole day. And to top off the day with a visit to the county fair. As of thursday both the ladies were transplanted to 5gal buckets. Gonna veg for another week till I'm put'em in the dresser. I got the new fan motor mounted, with ducktape lol.

Just days away from kicking these bitches into flower. Going on how the kryptonite turned out I'm taking some extra steps to ensure I get a good yield with nice tight buds. So the extra 1st step is to veg to several inches than the kryptonite was and the 2nd was to install another socket and 1 more 68w cfl from HD. Plus just having increased my airflow just last week I'm all prepared for the next stage.

The next to in the cycle are getting nice and leafy. Both still in red party cups, the Orange Diesel is taking off while the Kaya Gold is a little behind but still doing good. Could be the age of the seeds or just that KG isn't the most dominate strains out there.

Come to find out I can send pic messages directly to my email. So I've found my loophole around losing my camera.

Yesterday was the 1st day in the flowering cabinet. Also got the new socket installed and another bulb to throw in about half way through. I'm gonna give 1 more feeding of veg nutes in about 2 days when soil is dry. By next week I should be giving them 1/4 tps of Bio Thrive Bloom. The next 2 in the mix are doing well. The Orange Diesel is growing real agressively, way more than the Kaya Gold. They're vegging under 3 26w 65k and 1 26w 27k.

I've decided to start another journal for the next 2 in the line up on my on going grow. I'm very hopeful about the Orange Diesel goes female, if not I'll throw a Jock Horror autoflower in with the kaya gold to ensure I don't lose out on a whole plants yield.

hey dude your bud are going 2 continue 2 be loose until you get at least a lil 400watt HPS for flowering. im not hating jus being real dude, you can get good LOOKING budds from CFL, but you will never get dense or even remotely Desnse Nuggs off a CFL grow. i see the 10$ Walmart special blue gro lights in the back, i have 2 of those but i only use them for Vegetative, their SO BLUE that they only really help with foliage. but anyhow dude, like i said im not putting you down, i did a cuple CFL grows a few years ago when i 1st started growing, they came out like yours everytime. and i was using the Same Nutrients that i use now under 800 Watts HPS

Both are starting to stretch a bit as expected. 1 thing I forgot to account for is that the 5 gallon buckets are inches taller than the 10 gallon tote that the kryptonite was in. Since the SGK/MR.N is about the same height as the kryptonite I'm gonna have nice tight buds being inches closer to the lights. Yesterday they got a feeding of Superthrive and BioWeed. I'll give give them their 1st dose of flower nutes next week.

Also got a sweet hat from a concert on sunday from the "Legalize It" booth lol It's awesome

Dam the SGK/Mr.N is growing tall and fast. I'm gonna have to tie down 2-4 of the colas due to the aggressive growth these past couple days. She's now within 6-7 inches of the bulbs...But I love it, it's like wild kingdom every time I open the door lol
