I'd like to be able to make a knot in branches when I bend them. I've had it happen, but I want to make it happen consistently. Buds seem to be fatter. It might even make sense to make multiple knots along each branch. If it increases yield and doesn't cost me anything but time, I'll try it.
I've already excluded strains that were rigid and snapped easily. Additionally, silica seems to have made plants a little more LST-friendly. Knots appear to be one more thing that can give you incremental yield gains -- and they're free.
I just want to have more control over whether a knot forms where I bend a branch.
