Looks like Hunter investigations and other stupid shit, when Donald goes down they will be leading the mob on the courthouse steps. Imagine the fiery hoops he will have them jumping through when the heat is turned up or he is indicted, especially if he is released from custody pending trial, even with a muzzle. If Kevin wins the speakership, Trump will own him or figure he does and he will need to use him and the house GOP soon.

Kevin McCarthy, Republican leader, failed to gain the speaker’s post in three more successive votes. The empty speaker’s position means that the House is at a standstill: Without sworn members, it is unable to perform oversight, pass bills or set up constituent services.

Nancy Pelosi of California, walking to the House floor, chided reporters for asking about whether Democrats would help pave the way for McCarthy: “This is a problem of their own making. This is called leadership. They should be able to work it out. Don’t put this at the Democrats’ doorstep.”

I don't think so...he's had practice dealing with humiliation, he stepped in public shit in 2015 and lost his bid for speaker then, and i doubt that a single house member who was in office in 2015 has forgotten that, or allowed him to forget it. If he can run for speaker again with that looming over him, then he literally has no sense of shame.
If he steps down, it will be because of pressure over something we're not aware of at the moment.
someone like mccarthy can face humiliation, publicly, if it gets them what they want...unless what they want is respect.

which looks like it just happened, mccarthy loses a 4th vote, and trump's endorsement is worth the same shit that regularly spews from the second anus he uses as a mouth...not even usable as fertilizer, all it will grow is lies and hate.
