they sell gallons of wolf urine at my local plant/ hydroponics store.. you r supposed to mark the territory around the plant.. once the deer smell the wolf, they wont care about the greenery, they will book it... dont know how long it lasts, depending on rain I guess...

if you nailed some empty pop cans to the trees in a circle around your plants.. pour the urine into the cans... it will stay in the cans longer then just poured on the ground and as long as it has not evaporated, you should be good..

25$ or so. That's for the 80lb test strength.

Barbwire. Very effective, but some work (60lb install w/ t-post) and you would prob give your spot away.
If the police find barbed wire around your crop they are going to think it's a trap for them and piss them off. When normally they would just pull 4 or 5 plants out and trash them only to move on now they will hunt you down.

Pretty much... Even a non-smoker would probably know it's MJ. The leaf is inconic...

I wanna see a stoned deer. They're already paranoid by design, it would be funny to watch one after the eat couple ounces of some dankness..

I use chicken wire and a crossbow i get my plants and my meat for the year dam deers. I also pee arowned my plants i got no clue if that helps but chicken wire works great deer cant get there greedy teeth on my plants. You could also go bear grills style with a swinging trap like a log pulled back with trip wire. I would not go any closer after i set off a trap knowing there is probly more.

I know this thread is od but I feel it is important to mention that police look at tightly strung braided line as a hazard at best and a booby trap at worst. Braided line to the neck is extremely dangerous.

just go find the biggest brier patch that gets some pretty good sun, bust threw and hollow that bush out with a sharp pair of garden pruners!!!(do not cut a path into it) the surounding briers will keep the deer out most of the time depending how thick it is.... i also take 3 mothballz and little pieces of irish spring soap put them in a coffee filter twist with thin wire close and with the remaining wire twist that around wherever you wanna hang in and around ur guerilla patch! this is what im doin this year and so far its workin great!

I've had dozens of outdoor seasons and most of the time it hasn't worked out. The majority of the time I come up on my girls only to find that a deer has plucked the tops clean and then they will keep coming back to chomp the new growth. Of course, I've had drought, winds, frost etc.. take a few crops but most of the time it's deer that ruin my season. I've read about leaving hair and other scents to deter animals away, but being a avid bow hunter I know for a fact it does not work. Maybe for a few days but scent usually dissipates within 48 hours or animals will recognize that there is no threat and go on with their business. I've observed deer actually going out of their way to check out a new smell - sniffing where I was, where I pissed, where I sat etc.. So taking your barber's mess usually just gives field mice good nesting materials.

My solution is thisView attachment 1505684

It's pretty simple actually. Just plant your crop where ever as normal and find four trees or posts, whatever, you just need a few good anchor points at least 3 feet tall. And you basically spin a web around them. The only tricky part is getting over the web to get to the plants. I have been using the bucket I take to stand on and then grabbing a branch to hop over.

Make sure to get the heavy spider wire. This stuff is strong. If you weave it just right, you can literally lean on it and it will support your weight.

I have a huge deer pop where I live and before the tree mast gets underway the deer pretty much eat everything soft and green in sight. So this may seem extreme but with well over a 100 plants(all females) turned to poo I had to get drastic. I have some friends that put their girls in trees to get em of the ground.
I haven't had a deer try to jump it yet. I try to situate it on uneven ground so they are unsure of their landing argo not making the jump. The other good perk of it is it's totally incog as far as sight goes, a thin fence basically. Just make sure you take it ALL out with you after the season, it doesn't decompose well and might pose threats to birds.

Go guerillas!!
With 100 plants you must be busy for most of the season just stringing fishing line. After 30 years of outdoor grows I have had cows, skunks, coons and amish all go after my plants. Say what you will but mothballs always work on the critters and a cattle prod works on the amish boys.;-)

All my grows are indoors so don't have to worry about the buggers, they do get into my flower gardens. I cut up bars of Ivory soap and put a 1/4 every 3 feet. it work for the flowers.

I just put billboards up that say "Not for deer or hunters". No really though, I plant some in the middle of a blackberry patch, those fuckers hurt. I'd also suggest nettles and milk thistle.

You get that deer eat blackberry..the plant part especially in spring. LIke horses they will also eat thistles and nettles. If that kind of thing is keeping deer away..there probably aren't any
