Kava Kava. The Therapeutic Temptress of Delight!

The extract certainly works. However, I find the effects to tamper off quite abruptly.

For instance, if I apply one good size pea portion under my tongue there's an instant effect of numbness. The numbness increases in strength for the next five minutes. The effects plateau for another five minutes. Followed by a steady decline in effects for the next ten minutes. However, for the next 20-30 minutes theres a relaxing afterglow akin to a mild benzodiazepine.

The vendor I order from definitely perfects the art of Kava making! ;)

Certainly! :D

Who actually likes pounding the hardest whiskey without a chaser on hand? I know I would receive many "yes" nods in return, but you get my gist.

Kava has it own unique taste and texture. Once you get use to its distinct texture, you'll find Kava to be quite delightful on the taste buds. After the first cup of Stone Kava I actually took in the aromas and texture. It's a new taste that requires adaptation. :D

aquired taste it is

You live in Hawaii and don't know a spot?

It's the main drink of the Pacific Islands! Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga Etc. all drink this on regular occasions.

Yes. Kona Kava is one of the major Hawaii suppliers of Kava. Look them up and see for yourself.

However, I order from another vendor. I'll give Kona Kava a try once I finish the rest of my supplies. ;)

from the vendors ive tried kona has the bestwhole root for miles

I must be the only one who doesn't like this stuff. Bought a bag of it a few months back and only tried it once. Felt ok for awhile then felt almost like that paranoid and edgy over nothing feeling you get about 20min after doing a line of blow. Skin got all clammy and everything. It was the complete opposite of "calm and tranquil." Maybe I drank too much? What's the recommended dose?

Well, not that many people here have seemed to try it besides me and Uunk.

Cocaine and Kava Kava share no similarities besides the numbing factor. There's a sizable inner buzz that illuminates within 10 minutes after drinking the root powder. After the first cup a more tranquil feeling manifesting itself. Recommended dosage is about 2/4th cups of root powder and 1 cup water. The drink is not for everyone. Everyone has a preference. But for what its worth its a great alternative to alcohol and has great medicinal properties. :D

heyyy ndangaa question

did you use muslin or the bags at naka?

the ones at naka look like cotton wasnt sure if i should check them out or not

im lookin in to that jungle cheif's and wow! blend

the free shippin in the states is pretty sick to

sad they dont offer maca still have to goto kona for that

I purchased muslin bags; however, way to small to strain the Kava. For one cup full I had to pour 8 separate times into muslin bag. Very tedious. I need one big net to capture all the Kava in one setting.

Blends of recommended choice are Stone, Chief, WoW. If you not a fan of subtleness then these recommended blends are for you! ;)

Geez, thanks for letting me look like a stupid ass!

I almost laughed looking at these 4x4 in. muslin bags with nearly 4 cups of Kava sludge looking back at me. I was like, "Ah bitch... fuck it... I'm in it for the long haul!" ;)

It was rewarding, nonetheless!

nah your method isnt bad honestly just use multiple bags in a bigger container

i use such big bags as i save my mixtures for later adventures

kava works greats in combination with lots of goodies too

kratom ( watch it can get abit WOAH , total nodding)

smoking and more so edibles

Maca as i said before

" Our Mahakea kava kava root has matured for over four years, and has the most desirable 426 kavalactone/chemotype line up for the least bitter taste and the most pleasurable effects."

Not bad!

The only reason why I doubted Kona Kava is because I heard some bad things about it on a blog. The blog goes into detail about various other blends and vendors. However, Uunk has used them in the past with great results. However, he has not tried the vendors I specified. So, we'll see how it turns out! ;)

Alas! My Kona Kava sampler hasn't arrived a day too late. Will have the full run down tomorrow. For tonight, we dine!

The stuff I have says Piper Methysticum (Kava Kava) 40% Kavalactones Extract. Chalky yellow powder. Is this the same stuff you guys use?

Specimen do you mind letting me know your vendor. Not sure if you're allowed to post it, but could you PM me if not?

I tried some kava extract from Kona Kava a few years ago and I felt absolutely no effect regardless of the serving size. Nothing against them though... they actually offered me a refund if I returned what I hadn't used.

Mine. Has no mention of Kava extract percentage. Its the whole root but just crushed into powder. The consistency of my batch is chalky lime green. Does your pouch of Kava have any labeling that indicates brand (edition).

lol really ? i used teh extract as a sublingual and had absolutlely no problem

but again extracts are no where near as strong as the whole roots like ive said all along and ndanjer said

your best off trying a whole root/powdered root seep first
