so today i topped my plant. could have been a huge mistake, but this plant is kind of an experiment, so we'll see where this takes it. it's kind of hard to tell from the pics, but can anyone tell if i did it okay, and if my plant was ready for it? also, i was wondering if i need to trim the leaves so that the light can get to more of the leaves? any help is great. thanks guys.

You JUST topped it today... give it a couple of days and you'll be wondering why you posted this thread :)

The pics are hard to see but it appears you topped it properly. No, I wouldn't be removing any healthy leaves.

Do not remove any leaves, the plant is fine. Give it a few days and you will see improvement. You can tell already by how much foliage you have that your root system is prob pretty good already, so one cut (even if it you did it wrong) your plant will still be fine.
