Do you know what Fisher does as a service dog ?
Afaik being a service dog is a prerequisite to be eligible to have them in the workplace. Our hairdresser Jamie is diabetic, is the owner/operator, and has two service dogs (Ollie and Fisher) in her workplace. Ollie is a Havanese and has been to several retirement facilities to bring comfort to the residents.

Ollie also senses when Jamie's blood sugar level drops and alerts her by standing beside her and going slightly bonkers. Fisher is in training to take over for Ollie. I'm not sure if Fisher has developed that skill yet or if she is used for any service elsewhere - but I'll find out during my next visit.

Some time ago I wrote about my 84 year old neighbor and her Collie Romeo who passed away , and all the nice things her dog park friends did for her .

They made the front page of our local monthly paper . The bench she's sitting on is dedicated to Romeo . Story on pages 4-5 . She's my best friend in our complex , a truely wonderful person .
