Yeah science changes all the time. Like even when I was first looking at getting him neutered they're like yep 6 months. 8 weeks if you have to . But now they're starting to say yeah more like a year and a half 2 years. I basically matters who you listen to and what science they use I think. He'll basically be like 11 months, almost a year. So I'm pretty comfortable with that. And he is ready. So and so another thing you talk to the owners and they say neutering did calm them down. But the science says it doesn't. So there is a pretty good chance he will escape. And I feel real bad if he raped and impregnated somebody else's dog lol. So he's going to get the chop at least for that reason. But yeah I don't know am I responsible or am I a monster LOL.YOU BUTCHER !!!!
Just kidding...
I actually spoke with our resident vet this morning about my "thing" re male dogs lifting vs squatting . She has a handsome male poodle pup she's taking to work with her in the morning to get neutered .
She pretty much said there's no real science behind early neutering and squatting , though she's seen the correlation between the two .
But Bluey already has that part down...
