I was surfing the local news channels and there was a "pet of the week" story . I went to the site of the shelter who is keeping her and found this quote....

The newest member of our Fucowie Tribe , " Peaches " ! My daughter rescued this old , deaf pooch from a group of people ( bunch of assholes) in Florida ,giving their pets away........the heartless bastards ! She with our tribe in Upstate now living the
" Life of Riley " on the lake. The hounds and cats greeted her with open arms.
She is super friendly , mellow and a lots of fun . She's a living doll !

She's a living doll ! She looks mighty comfy. Things like bent tails and a bug eye
just makes them cuter ! It's funny you used the word " zoomies" . We have a young female Basset , Ripley, who , we say gets the zoomies ! Looks like Emma is in
great hands !

I actually spoke with our resident vet this morning about my "thing" re male dogs lifting vs squatting . She has a handsome male poodle pup she's taking to work with her in the morning to get neutered .

She pretty much said there's no real science behind early neutering and squatting , though she's seen the correlation between the two .

But Bluey already has that part down...:cool:
