With a news report from an actual case that resulted in an acquittal, and where the judge and prosecutor said they had trouble seating a jury because there was so much objection to marijuana laws? If so, I missed those threads.

I heard yesterday or the day before on the radio that the Dems put forth a bill that would enable individuals in the "legal" states to use that state's medical marijuana laws as defense in Federal trials. Republicans torpedoed the bill.
I don't have specifics but I am fairly sure this really happened (In other words I want it to have happened because it bolsters my case against Repubs)

I laugh when I see conservatives (not refering to you) clowning about jury nulification while they protest that "separation of church and state is not in the constitution". Conservatives are always insisting on strict readings of the Constitution unless they would rather something be in it that isn't there. Some of us liberals think that if it isn't there, it is likely something the framers missed and should be there - I happen to like the idea of such back door democracy. An ultimate display of disgust for one portion or other of law by the people.
