For those that have purchased from JOTI before, is it normal for them to take so long to reply to an email? I placed an order a week ago and still haven't received a reply to if my payment was received, which was sent 4 days ago. Cheers.

AFAIK they are a reputable bunch and might just have a long list of orders to process. And probably wasting half their time answering questions from impatient customers.
I'm sure they'll be faster than the 6 - 8 months it takes to get any kind of action out of the gov't.

I've never ordered seeds and the very few packs I have got I bought in person paying cash. Have around 3 dozen different strains on hand I haven't tried yet tho.
I'm not up on what all these vendors are doing these days as a result of running out of fucks to give.
Most of what I see are mongrelized bastard blends of multiple strains with fancy clickbait names that really are so much like each other it hardly matters what you choose tho JOTI always had very popular house crosses that earned large followings. So many F1s or F2s that any pollen chucker can make being sold for prices that should be reserved for unique creations some hard working breeder spent a few years perfecting.
Sucking back a little Cherry Noir atm with some GG#4 for bedtime.

It's kinda funny how JOTI has come full circle from being known as a pollen chucker with well priced gear for beginners, to an esteemed breeder and now back to a company with "baggage"...
I'd honestly be surprised if he's done anything differently and it's more the perception of his company then anything that's changed.

I'm just speaking from my own personal experience, which was that their customer service has declined. Also, like I said, it's my understanding that they are under new ownership.

I haven't ordered from JOTI since the new ownership.
In the past I would send cash, wait a month send an email reminding them to send the seeds, wait another month, remind them again and 2 to 4 weeks later I would get my seeds.
They never ripped me off but for multiple orders they needed constant reminding to send my order.
I've had the shits of them, there are so many other places to buy seeds from that don't disrespect you.
Try running any other business like that and see how far you get.
The black market days are pretty much over, they are just seeds.
Patronize someone else.

Yeah it's a rubbish way to run a business! I finally got notification 3 days ago that the payment was received and the beans would be shipped in the next 4-5 days! Guess I'll wait and see if they actually show up!

They kept insisting that they couldn't find an email with payment, which they had already accepted according to my bank I might add. So I responded by saying, "Well, I guess I can't buy from you anymore." They found my payment basically immediately thereafter. How did they find my payment in their slough of emails you ask? By searching my email address... I'm a very nice and patient person who has advocate for this company for quite some time, but this annoyed the shit out of me.

Just say "hermie" or ask about "tested?" on their IG page and see how quickly you get banned/blocked. It's too bad PeakSeedsBC is gone....if you wanted some pure strains, they have the C99, Sweet Skunk, Northern Lights and Blueberry. Quite the opposite approach to what JOTI is doing now. But they went the way of the regulated market, and no longer sell to the general public.

I've often wondered if it is "Blackberry Kush"....He updated GodBud to "Godbud 2.0" but wouldn't tell people what was added to it even if asked directly. And then he did a big pheno hunt of his own Blueberry, and offered some variants...Blueberry Muffin, Blueberry blah-blah edition, blah blah. And anybody who knows Blueberry knows it has some very dark purple/black phenotypes. So I personally think that in his Blueberry hunt, he just found a nice specimen. But instead of call it a boring old Blueberry, call it Blackberry Kush.
Since everything its bred with is such a polyhybrid anyhow, it's not like anybody could tell. And if it is a legit Blackberry Kush, who was it from? Because I'm not sure he had it before his big Blueberry phenohunt.
