Exactly. One was a full on popsicle bud of dense flowers, about 4 inches tall, under 24/7 veg. Two others were also autos, starting a little later but still starting to flower in veg. Two were mutants. The remaining 5 or so that looked normal got tossed because I want plants that will grow the whole season. Not start flowering on me outside in June.

If Jordan is using tissue culture now he could store all his strains in a beer fridge and be able to clean the plants of pathogens and disease before releasing.

The price increase and no coupons sucks but still an awesome buy compared to other genetics. I already ordered Blue Afghani (Stickey Fingers Edition) so we will see if freebies still come. Attached is some of the successes I have had with JOTI.

The latest thing he posted on IG was about Slurricane x God Bud (his latest pollen chuck), saying it was the 'tastiest strain from In-House Genetics'. And that's all he is now; a guy who buys American seeds and pollen chucks his (now not so special) God Bud on them. So he's pollinating un-stabilized hybrids with his own unstabilized God Bud, and using American companies names to sell his own seeds.

Proof he's a pollen chucker? Just look at his latest IG post about this cross. Somebody asked him to see a photo of the parent Slurricane being used...he said "soon". Why would he say that? Likely because it's his first time growing it..and even if so, why not post a picture of it? He clearly didn't do a pheno hunt of Slurricane before pollinating it if he doesn't even have a picture of it. In fact, he doesn't have pictures of ANY of his own stuff. There are 2-3 guys on IG who he constantly re-posts their pictures. For an IG account with 8,000+ 'followers', he sure doesn't get many replies to his posts (purchased followers likely). And when reading the replies, there are countless comments about the total lack of uniformity among his plants and his piss poor customer service. One week he's on there saying 'orders are now shipped the next day!', meanwhile the comments say otherwise.

Also to note is that just after he started this new practice of "lets pollinate every American strain we can buy with Blueberry or God Bud", he said there would be no more coupons, and he was raising his prices... And what happens? Less than a month later, its a COUPON code. Then another, then another....pretty much every month, a new coupon. Meaning there is no reason to pay full price at any time; there is a coupon just around the corner. I tend to think his business isn't quite thriving like it used to. Why? Probably because word is getting out that his seeds now are just junk. Obviously he knew his God Bud was no longer good if he felt the need to inject new, untold genetics into it for 2.0.

30 years ago he may have been relevant, before the internet. When you had to pick up the green pamphlet of the Marc Emery seeds at the shops in Vancouver. Now whoever manages his IG page is making him look like a complete clown, with their cascading smiley faces and complete lack of ANY pictures he posts of his own. I mean, isn't IG meant to POST PICTURES?? That guy uses it to find people growing out his untested pollen chucks.

maybe the info wasnt on forum but it was well know in canada.. he got raided and lose all mother , BC reglementation is kind of hazy , sometimes they let people do their things and other they decide to raid everybody , that the reason for his new line up but i know the black serie was a multi collab from US breeder helping him get back on track and also close followers still having old stock and all the clone he used are the breeder's cut and not a pollen chuck or seed he bought, he doing what he can to get back to where he was, could have done a better job warning everybody but understand joty are old school head not young anymore... he is not a fan of social media too

@H G Griffin good call on the spreadsheet, that's a solid idea, I find myself having to go online and search that stuff too often, I think I will have to make one up aswell!

I have a tent full of mephisto right now but will probably pop some more joti beans when the temp gets lower. In the spring/summer it's hard to keep my grow area warm so I like to run 24hr light, so just autos for now haha. Have a bunch of mephisto running to give them a try, pretty happy so far

Once you start, you'll find all sorts of ways to make it useful for your own situation.
In addition to the seed listings, I have pages for current plants and for harvested plants showing germ times, veg times, flower times, presumed harvest dates, notes, etc. It makes it easier to plan my space, and I can look at years of history to see actual flower times,with phenotype variations, among other info.

Wish I could do that but here your just helping the pigs out if your unlucky enough to be busted recording all that here so I try to remember as much as I can but we all human your gonna forget some things so if your in a legal situation 100% pays to note it all down I agree there

@conor c @TheChemist77 haha I still find it fun, but I just like growing plants and have a massive garden of all sorts of plants. Just like with weed the stuff at the store sucks compared to my tomatoes, corn, cucumber etc!

It definitely took the profitability out of it though, I used to be able to feed myself with growing weed, but now it's not worth the cost at scale where I live.

They do at least test the weed for microbial, heavy metal, and pesticides contamination, but this leads to many licensed producers irradiating their bud, or sterilizing by some other means, and kills the terps and makes the bud dry and crappy.

Not all Canadian LPs do that, but it hasn't really stabilized in the almost 7 full years of legalization, still lots of bad brands with large market share and capital to buy the smaller brands that become competitive with them before they really take a piece of the pie

I still like legalization, but it's definitely not been perfect in Canada. I am happy I can grow my 4 plants out in my yard during the summer though, and just keep the tent hidden ish so I can grow more than 4 without anyone really caring. I love variety, 4 strains would never be enough!

Definitely 4 in the yard is better than none for sure
