This was my modern, simplified "paper bag" method for curing.

There is nothing wrong with using a box haha.

I started with cfls in a box.

Well, I took out a sampler and taped the box shut again.

....looking like a violation again :0), but this is only for the cure to continue.

The sampler was just a tad chewy. It showed right in the little
stems that hold the buds to the stem....some drying left to do.
This is good. It is supposed to make it take longer.

BTW paper bags do almost the same thing if left closed. slows the drying down by quite a bit. I am always worried about lack of air flow though.

Says it's his simplified paper bag method right there.

BTW: The Fireball popped. Yeah!

Only DPQ failed...and I probably rushed the poor thing, given
how deep it was....never found it though. A new bean is coming.

It is funny, but I need to work out my Vegging better. This is to say
that I have given hempys to so many plants that I now see I am going
to want to work with for a bit before I flower them.

I am thinking that I am going to make up about four new hempy 5-gallon
buckets and then to up-pot some strong growers in them.

I had decided, and wrote about it, that it was time to start enjoying
growing out some of the keepers I have found....to not constantly
be dealing with plants unknown to me.

If I have an Apollo BX, Jillybean, Psycho Killer, etc making strong
roots in their buckets, then in a month when I need to put something
into flower and the Clonlys are still working it out, then I will be able
to pop one of the new stand-ins into the tent. HGK and Sour Kosher
are also coming back up again.

It will work fine Jad....here's why....if you are gone too long, then
you will fine overly dry, but properly cured, buds when you get home.

Too dry buds can be moistened easily enough too.

It is the green-grass smelling dried-too-fast approach that you want to avoid.

Well, off for the weekend. Salt Mined.

I took down the Jacks Cleaner to, at Day #68, last night.

It smelled strongly of Lemons for the last half of the cycle.

Wherever you are LK, I got my first Lemon! How long was that??!!?!
A year anyway. Well, I have a clonly SLH now so we will see.

So, it is hanging and a rather weak Grandaddy Purps got
a space in the flowering tent.

I have stronger growth in Veg that will get into the tent in two
weeks, but I really want to taste one of these clone-onlys and
GPD gave a rooting clone, so it wins.

I was really aggressive in checking clones, pulling up anything that
had gotten two weeks or more, and I got a GSC. Good news that!
I also got XXX, Blackwater, Jack's Cleaner 2, Plushberry, Jillybean,
and several Sour Koshers.

I am putting into the tray a slew of new clones as well, focusing on
the clonlys. The verdict is in, the new jiffy pucks are making great
clone when sat in the burpee seed tray. Still no attention required.

More to come.

glad to here all is good Java. Hope you got a good GDP mine is kens and it has the taste, but smaller more og nugs then the clone only's big sticks of bud. i keep it around because it breeds great. i have some )G13 x gdp going now that shoud put out some big dank budi hope

Actually the GDP was on the thin side. I would love to have vegged
it out more, but I had to move it. I have a clone already growing to
go again in the future should this run go well.

Thanks TC. I have the new Super Lemon Haze local Clone Only too,
and I really expect it to be decent....why spread a dud SLH, right?

I also have the Super Lemon OG from DNA Limited.

...now I heard that the Training Day that I paid practically $200 for,
together with SnowLAnd, is popping balls all over RIU and the web.

Just to get some more aggressive genetics into veg, and then flower,
I up-potted the two strongest clonlys that I have backups up, Blackwater
and XXX Kush into 5 gallon hempys.

Well, I plan on up-potting the two strongest of the new sprouts, Skunk #47
and BC Bud Depot's GSC, along with a strong Smelly Cherry and
Plushberry.

I will post some photos later.
