Javadog's Next Adventure

A couple days later, and all 23 are still alive:

It is hard to think of which of these I have the highest hopes for, but
I suppose that getting a female Jack the Ripper is up there.

I got full packs of the Ace gear, so I can afford to pop another of those, but,
really, popping the Golden Tiger, Malawi, and Old Timer's Haze made me
want to get their Panama and Purple Haze into the flowering tent. They
are both still waiting their turn, in their hempys.

I was reading up on one of the new clones-onlys that I got recently,
and I wanted to ask: Has anyone here grown, or smoked, Sleestack?

OK. Thanks Scroga. I was curious, as one of my new clone-onlys is "Stacked Kush"
which is Sleestack X OG #18. I read that it has very good flavor.

My Dinachem is a wonderful plant, with top-notch vigor. Having grown some "trembly"
breeds, I have come to love vigor.

The buds are setting up a tad differently to the Chem 4 that I grew, tho they are very
pretty and do seem to be looking more like I recall as they develop.

The lights are on, but I took some shots.

On a funny side note: I had decided to grow out a new Chem 4 and so took a clone:

Actually, I had had enough of all the brand-new-to-me work....I have
been working forward making a stable of keeper-mothers to make
crops with, and I figured that it is about time to re-work a few breeds.

So, I have new clones of Chem 4, Somango, Sour Kosher, Jillybean,
and Apollo 13 going.....though with about 20 clone-onlys going, it will
be a while before they see the tent.

Have a great day folks.

That is good to know. Thanks for taking the time.

While I did manage to hide my Jack The Ripper male in the backyard, long
enough to get some pollen, my situation is under-cover for now. I am legal,
but I do not share my hobby with my 15 year old son. He has enough on his
mind dealing with school and life. Soon enough I will come into the light. :0)

Onward and upward,

WOW JD these are beautiful plants! After I take my kids to school I'm coming back to check out the babies.
Very nice indeed.

JD thanks for the Dinachem comments. I have a bean and was giving strong consideration to making it my next effort. I've always assumed it was Dinafem version of chemdog.

I share my activities with my kids but they do not partake. I've told them to wait until they are 18 and if they want to know what it's all about, I will provide a safe environment for them to explore.

Thanks for stopping in guys!

Hey, I wanted to add that, after getting out of their shells and
the soil, and though their first day, that one of the sprouts appears
to be damping off.....and it is Jack The Ripper. What fucking luck.

I have it held aloft, and caught it before it was limp on the ground,
but odds are it will wilt and wither.

Well, I have the males pollen. I need to read up on the best time
to do this. I am thinking that I will just bag the dusted branches for
a day and then spray them off with water when I take the bag off,
to kill remaining pollen. I do not have a separate tent to make beans in...

I hate it when that happens. You might try moving a little of the dirt away from the bottom of the stem as well if you havn't already. Just to let it breath better.

No. ...didn't know that trick. It is pretty much gone.

I will have to be thankful for those things that I do have. I must
remember that of all the TGA breeds that I bought, two beans of,
that this is the only one that I did not get a female of.

I am getting Jack's Cleaner 2 right now, and Plushberry is going
to make it into the tent soon.

Take care,

JD
