jarring small buds with leaf on

I chose dry trimming, been trimming for three nights with 10 overall drying days. I'm out of time for a few days; I think they need to be jarred as they're small buds and are nice and dry.

I sniped remaining buds and put em in two 64oz jars leaf on. I'll burp em, but can I finish trimming them in a few days? I saw some posts about old school leaving leaves on and trimming just before use?

You can jar them and smoke them with the sugar leaves on, they will create more moisture in the beginning so don't forget to burp until it gets more consistent.

I did the same thing with a lot of bud this year which was dry trim. When you dry it with the leaves it does leave a lot better flavor and is smoother. It was much easier to trim when dry as well. It is a more even smoke for sure.

Sounds good, they look very medicinal too. I'll break these out to look all knowledgeable and stuff

This is my third grow this year and I definitely feel more confident about the whole process. I used to worry everything will dry out super fast but it does not. Also if you think your bud is to dry throw in the big stems in the jar as well and they will help distribute better moisture if you think your buds are too dry.

thanks, yeah determining dryness/humidity level is tricky. I thought they were trim/cure ready at 5 days but they were still quite wet. nice slow dry of 10 days, I plan to repack with Boveda in a week or so.
