I’ve been wanting to ask this for awhile now: do you hold it?

Only cause I love you and don't understand it. LMAO! Have you yet to delve into the relationship of one's over indulgence being stored, as known, documented and observed in human fatty tissues? Does one's over inhale not induce or force instinctive storing in these tissues until it is consumable? Therefore creating higher than perceivable norm resulting in increased tolerance. Yes. Take long breaks. Smoke less and inhale lighter. We are built to adapt. Retard that ability.
And I'm only as strange as you open. Peace love and "TINK" people.
You don't make much sense Mich but then again neither does my husband. I hope you have a magical Christmas and a prospero Nuevo Ańo

I like your honesty. I know. I make sense of true needs and workings. Boobs and shiny things never put a roast on the table. I again say be human. And can you go camping for a month?

imo - these days we have more access to 'quantity' which probably means people often just quick inhale. Over, long deep held breaths.
Unless they just got home from work ..and are trying to go from 'straight' to 'stoned' in the fastest time possible :)
Drinkers, can do the same thing too ;)
100%

Nope, that relationship is dose dependent and you don't get a larger dose of cannabinoids by holding the smoke/vapor in longer. It only increases byproduct retention which you don't want.

I enjoy a joint more than any other form of smoking weed, I don't puff my joint I inhale in straight down sort of like breathing through the joint + air gap (lol) otherwise I can't get a satisfying draw, I then hold it in for a few seconds and exhale it.

That’s how I learned to consume a joint too, straight down, usually the biggest hit I could draw without coughing. I used to try to smoke the occasional cigarette the same way and it always made me feel ill.
A friend once told me it was because I smoked cigarettes like joints. I didn’t understand what she meant until she explained puffing versus inhaling. The cig habit never stuck, they always made me feel sick. Joints sure don’t though. As harsh as they can be compared to a bong or vaping, it’s still one of my favorite ways to smoke pot, especially in a group (not so much with COVID though). I take smaller hits but a larger number of them off joints these days and found that holding it in a long time versus just inhaling then exhaling doesn’t affect how well it works.
