So let me start out by saying I don't know what strain of cannabis I'm growing, but I do know based on the leaves that it's a sativa blend of some sort. I found the seed in a bud I bought.
The plant is about 5 weeks old and I'm going it in a 3 gal pot outside (I bring it inside at night because it gets down to 40 here in Idaho around this time of year) in some soil I had left from my garden. The PH is about 7 - 8 (a little alkaline I know). I water about once every 3 days or when I notice that the top inch or so is dry.
I guess that so far I've been lucky because he/she has been growing nicely for a while now, but tonight I started to notice that the top leaves are drooping and the lowest leaves have begun to change to a yellowish color. I am pretty poor so buying any testing equipment isn't possible. I am hoping that my pictures will help you tell me if there is something wrong with my plant.
From what I've read, I have a feeling it may be nitrogen or calcium deficiency but I'm not sure. As far as I know, it could just be the natural growth of this plant. This is my first grow and I'm not even sure if it's a female yet (I just change to 12/12 light 2 days ago). Any help would be great.
Thanks
