Humans have damaged this planet, for it to recover to the same state as before we came will take millions of years. It's not like we'll dissappear and the delicate balance of herds and predators will be where it should be. The buildings or mountains of garbage won't just evaporate with us. Before humans came along all waste was biodegradable. We can't say that now can we?
