it was an additional responsibility bestowed upon the fire department by politicians who obviously care more about political rambling than public safety.
fighting fires is already dangerous enough. we need these guys to focus on putting fires out.
not on focusing on unneeded bureaucratic nonsense that only serves to put the public in danger.
this reaction by the fire department could've happened just as easily through clerical error. is $75 dollars really worth letting somebody lose their home??
