2001-2003. I loved BallyHoo my buddies used to drive up there to smoke out. Ski Bowl was a great toke place to, abd the bunker under the sand dune in Summers Bay is the best spot ever
Its all homegrown in alaska.

I frequented Unalaska from around 1991 to 1997 - pretty nutty place. You ever read the Police blotter from there - man some of that shit is really funny.

Assistance Rendered – Officers contacted a grumbling, intoxicated man who was found sleeping in his urine-soaked clothing in the airport terminal, and advised him he was not allowed to stay overnight in the airport. The rather unpleasant inebriate refused all offers of assistance and threw urine-soaked money and rain gear at the officers before leaving the facility.
Suspicious Person/Activity – An officer observed a man walking around near a parking lot and the Small Boat Harbor, peering into vehicles and gazing vacantly towards several moored vessels before disappearing into a small copse. The man began walking towards the officer then abruptly fell down in the snow. The officer subsequently determined the drunken man was quite incapacitated and took him into protective custody.
PC-Alcohol – An incapacitated drunk was reunited with a sober roommate, who agreed to watch over the man until he was again sober.
Drunk Disturbance – A drunken man required police assistance to enter his hotel room, as he was afraid another patron who waiting in the hotel hallway for an attendant to open his room, might see where he was going.

I removed myself from our uncles service 10 years ago - I had fun, but it was time to move on.

I don't know why that brew supply place off new seward doesn't expand and go as a hydro/brew store. They are great people and reasonable. Far North seems ok to me.
