Issues with germination

I'm not a super experienced grower but I've always used Dinafem genetics and in 40 ish seeds I've never had a seed that didn't germinate
Dinafems recent closure has forced me to use the UK seed bank Sticky seeds
Ordered Blackberry kush super Lemon haze and pineapple kush arrived promptly
Super Lemon haze popped overnight planted on its 2" out the soil as I would expect with previous seed grows (popped with its serrated leaves which I've never had? )

Not a peep from the other 2 it's been a week now I'm not holding hope so ordered replacements to try again

Non bleach tissue paper with PH tap water at 6.0 as I've always done on a plate with an adjustable temp heat mat at room temp??

Happy to learn others methods, Am I doing something wrong?

No I just don’t find the need to soak seeds. I just sow them into the soil and keep it moist. I used to do that when I started then I broke a taproot trying to put it in. Never did it again

Well I'm not convinced it's me now
Pineapple kush is as dead as the blackberry and
the other BB kush arrived been 5 days now and still no germination
4 to 1 success rate is poor even for bag seed
But I'd rather waste £25 on seeds than 16 weeks of my life on nurturing what could be poor genetics from the start.

I'd head over to RQS but they don't have Black Berry kush
Any recommendations please?

What are these bad genetics? Every one is good yielding and gets you fucked.

Does one bank have such a low yielding bad growing one with hardly any THC?

Mainly it's you fucking up the paper towel method. Plant straight to soil till you get that to work because you really suck at popping seed.

What do you want me to say - the bank you got seed from makes shit plants with low yields and thc and it must be the seeds are dead not your complicated germination in towels and shit!

RQS don't have blackberry kush, choose another strain who cares they all are good once you relearn how to put a seed in soil.

Like the other poster's here, im not a fan of the paper towel method.
Too much can go wrong like the paper drying out, damage to the root from handling. I just give mine an overnight soak in a glass of tap water, then into jiffy peat pods. Put them on top of my cable box, and usually sprout in a few days.

oh shit dinafem closed, sad :(
i love their stuff i got dinachem and blue kush from them two of my favorites. i hope they start selling again soon.
i always use 12-24hrs soak and the paper towel method. if this method doesnt work than its the seeds and not the method because i have 100% success with fresh seeds using this method.

Fuck you on about.......

The paper towel method is the reason most seeds fail. You not read the countless posts where people fucked up?

Absolute bullshit, just because you make it work its now a fool proof method for all.

yes its a fullproof method for some and op says he had 100% success rate with the same method before so the culprit is the bad seeds he received in this case. case closed and feel free to suck it.

Who is selling dead seeds? Has the op tested them by planting them in a cup of soil yet.

'fullproof method for some' - only some huh! Very fool proof them lol

no need to plant them into soil for germination if only 1 out of 3 pops problem is most likely with the seeds. germination method is a personal choice like growing method. for some a method can be fullproof (100% success rate as in my case) while for others it can provide lower success rates. but in this case op had 40/40 success before with dina seeds (which i had the same success rate before, 100%) so the only variable is the seeds. he is not trying this method for the first time and failing. are you working for this specific seed bank because its starting to feel like it.

Yes I work for seed banks and we get a lot of noobs saying the same thing day in day out.

When checked by a pro that strain and bank had no germination issues, did sell to a lot of noobs who think paper towel is fool proof thought,!

ok tell your bosses to sell fresh seeds then

if you suggest that a person can have 100% success with a method and have about 30% the next time and you think that has nothing to do with the seeds themselves than you are not qualified to pass judgement about who is a noob or not :)
