You're the one who always over simplifies everything so much that even a child would point out obvious problems with your points.

And you (once again) make a point based on the idea that israel is totally innocent and can do no wrong, and act all surprised when people point out problems with israeli policy. Even a child could have foreseen that.

Nobody except rick thinks it's a myth....although there are a couple of you who are brainwashed enough to delude yourself into thinking this sort of thing is somehow comparable to the shoah.

Here are some facts:

Gaza is blocked off from the rest of the world because it's controlled by a bunch of thugs whose stated goal it is to destroy the state of israel and kill israelis. In the video you can see the israeli naval commandos being attacked by the people on board who try to take their weapons before they start opening fire.

I'm not defending anyone here...it seems most of the people involved here are assholes and the israeli military should definitely receive most of the blame for totally botching their operation. But when you say 'humanitarian fleet' and 'innocent people' it might be useful to add some context.

By the way....your own government kills 'innocent people' every day with predator drones and air strikes. Just saying...

those people weren't attacking, they were defending themselves from illigal boarders in international waters.

Ok, so say I'm in international waters off long island hauling some unknown cargo. My ship gets boarded by navy seals and I attack them with slingshots, clubs and knives. Would that be self-defense?

yes. of course it would be. defending yourself is self sefense, unless i am unclear about something.

How about what the navy is doing off the horn of africa? Say some somali pirates get boarded and shoot at our dudes? Is it self-defense?

Again, I think the israeli military deserves the lion's share of the blame for this. But I don't have a problem with them boarding the ships, it's the fact the whole thing was botched so badly that bothers me. You would think they would have a better attack plan than 'let's lower these guys onto the deck from the helicopters and see what happens'....

i doubt very much that when somali pirates get boarded its at unnounced at nighttime with commandos dropping in from helicopters throwing stun grenades and tear gas. it is a proper fuck up by the israeli military

if you ask me our navy is acting with resraint against known pirates.
those idiots who fired on one of our GUIDED MISSILE cruisers didn't get sunk.
they're in NYC awaiting trial, probably eating better than they ever had and sleeping on sheets for the first time ever.
