Don't bother if he want's to argue the validity of religious texts, we know his thinking processes are already deeply flawed.

How about starting next on the book of mormon. Dumb, de, dumb, dumb, da.
spoken like the jackhole who thinks the torah is the "old testament"

you really are pretty dumb.

protip:

soddom and ghmorrah are real, they found em.
babylonian inscriptions mark the grave of a king who appeared nowhere in history except the torah untill they found his tomb.
the trojan war really happened, and the city of troy was excavated.
the city of Ur (home of gilgamesh) is real, and is being excavated.
you can today walk through the tomb of Phillip of macedon (alexander the greats father) which for centuries was recorded only in local legends.
the tomb of china's first emperor, qin sher huang di is being excavated right where it was purported to be in ancient texts.

sometimes the ancient records of primitive people who dont subscribe to postmodernism are correct and all the smartypants like you are fucking wrong.

the guy who discovered troy was a laughingstock in the "intellectual community" till he fucking proved he was right.

also, the book of mormon is poure bullshit just like the koran and the bible. the torah is different. much like the aryu vedas, buddhist sutras, egyptian hyrogliphic texts, babylonian cuneform tablets and many other ancient texts, which all have some religious content and context, but also are historical

but then you dont know anything about what happened before the end of ww2, when post-modern history began. youre a victim to the intellectual elitism and the cultural revolution of scoffing and disdain for anything not created by a 20th century or later college graduate.

youre the one making the case for the UN as arbiters of justice and fairness, this shows that you are clinically retarded.

your non-sequitor is admirable but mine is deplorable. nice play yahoo serious, good to see you still write absurd fiction as badly as ever.
Your government seems to put great emphasis on UN resolutions. Seems they can be used to justify invasions, but as long as it's not Israel violating those resolutions well that's just fine.

And since the torah is a historical document (fuck that made me laugh) could you enlighten us on the 5 books it includes? Sorry I just can get past your absurd fiction.

Or is your viewpoint the Hasidic view of the world where us Goys play second fiddle?

translatiuon:

scoff scoff scoff, disdain, scoff disdain. harumph.

all ancient texts are laden with religious influences, much as modern texts are dripping with useless retarded pop-culture references which will be undecipherable in 20 years. scholarship is extracting fact from the cont4ext and finding knowledge in the superstition.

but you want to focus on the religious twaddle, and use it to support your shaky position, unfortunately defaming the source as "too religious" eliminates the entirety of ancient writing. every bit of it. even plato in the republic presumes the greek gods presence and power.

the choice is yours, read some history or post animated gifs and make pop culture references.

"hate to break it to you" yourself.

the torah records historical (and religious twaddle) data from long before "jeebus" and the new testament. if you reject every word based on it's proximity to a religious belief then you best go learn to shape spear heads from flint and sew toether hides with bone needles, cuz thats the basis for all civilization.

pretending you are so urbane and sophisticated, not like hose primitive fools who worshiped idols and believed in gods, is just you fooling yourself. your life is every bit based on faith as much as the ancient epyptians were. they believed hathor brought the rains and the floods to the nile, you believe that its a weather cycle, they feared the serpent set and his minions of evil, you fear global warming and it's minions of carbon dioxide.

get over yourself, stop being a cunt, and read some history. palestine/judea/israel/the kindgdom of the philistenes has changed hands many times, always through violence, the pallies have less claim on the land than anybody else, but they cry hardest.

The question at hand is;

And since the torah is a historical document (fuck that made me laugh) could you enlighten us on the 5 books it includes?

why dont you construct your own straw man. i have niether the time nor the inclination to assist you.

the torah IS NOT the christian bible. the christian bible took the torah, and re-wrote it, re-imagined it, re-worked it, deconstructed it, the gave it a gritty reboot with all historical and cultural context removed.

meanwhile the original torah remains. used by archaeologists, serious scholars (the non-religious kind) and sociologists world wide.

the same can be said of the vedas, the sutras, hieroglyphics, cuneiform tablets, cave paintings, and the diaries of perosns famous and ordinary.

this can not be said of the book of mormon, the christian bible, or the koran, as these are works of fiction.

be less stupid.

Please go on about how the state of Israel is supposed to exist, according to the Torah.

embracing moslems as your freind is fine, when you have the guns. when they dont have the power to use force against you and your family moslems are 100% peaceful, its when they think they have the edge that islam shows it's true face. ask the armenians. or the zoroastrians, or the buddhists, or the hindus, or the jains, or the animists, or in fact any non moslem who lived in a moslem country. QUOTE]

Fucking Racist Redneck. Your understanding of Islam is a joke and I'm not gonna get into the secular differences between Sunnis, Shi'ites, Whahhabis etc...

because history began with ww2. everything else was simply prologue.

inb4 "zionist piggie jew bankers plotting to take over the world"

the faces change, but the song remains the same, israel's existence is the problem, and if we simply let israel be lifted/cleansed from the pages of history, dar al islam will become the green and pleasant land of peace love and understanding it was before those dastardly jews crashed the party with their entirely fictitious claims of having lived in judea before being driven out my the mohammedans.
Your logic is almost as weak as your sarcasm.

I do not want Israel to be destroyed. I just don't believe that they are entitled to slaughter Palestinians' and treat them like subhumans simply because they think their God commands it.

Religion does not belong in politics. If you disagree with that, you are in direct contrast with the views of the US Constitution and it's framers'.

Islam is no different from Christianity. Both have extremists. Both have normal people. To argue any differently is to identify which category you fall in to.

How sad that all these people, almost NONE of whom would be responsible for answering the call to battle if it were rung, are so quick to rattle the sabre. Seems like most birds prefer to travel in flocks, so I guess Chickenhawks are no different.
