is topping worth it?

yeah its worth it, you should also ook into FIMming

that is what it stands for but its simple to do and it has minimal stress on the plant, and creates 4 new growth shoots as apposed to 2 new growth shoots with topping
 
oooooh. ok. well i dont want 4, that seems absurd and kinda stressful... but topping seems more stressful the FIMming.. idk
 
thanks. i bookmarked it.. but im still skeptical about this whole process. i only have 5 seeds, and theyre 85$ feminized ones. tryin to get the most out of them, you know what i mean.
 
With topping you know exactly what your getting.:weed:
I also remove all lower bud sites and create a canopy of colas.:hump:
If you click on one of my signature vids you can see what topping and bright lights can do!:wink:
 
does this seem to yield a good amount, or do other methods actually top this? how do you get 8 colas?!? when the bud starts coming, do you have to tie the colas up or do they stand on their own. this is my first grow.. idk how strong these stems get..

topping and leafing is your best friend to get the max yeild out of your plants but don't go gun ho with leafing juring flowering because you can take leafs off that is realy needed insted

when you top a plant that part that you toped will stop growing then all the lower brances will try to grow to the top and so on. You must have a fan blowing on the plants because not only does it help them to be able to hold the weights of the buds but it also gives them fresh air that they need
 
I use bamboo sticks and twine to create a cage for each girl.
I tie the sticks together similar to a tomato cage.
 
Leaves make energy.
Energy is converted into growth(Flowers).
I don't take off any leaves that are not already brown and limp.
 
thanks. i appreciate itt. how do you get 8 colas though, i still dont get that. you just let the other stems catch up?
