Is topping worth it?

Topping has a purpose and yes it can be a huge help to a grow.

Worth it or not is the wrong Q there is no downside to topping a plant when done for the right purpose.

Windburn is certainly an issue with static fans though I'm sure some will disagree, I use oscillating fans with just enough to move the plants gently think soft summer breeze.

From birth to harvest I keep the leaves wiggling 24/7 on my autos by using a 20" Lasko floor fan, at a distance of 6ft. on the #2 setting, which relates to 8-10 mph wind speed. A gentle breeze if you will.

I still top but must admit the LST early and no shock seems to be the way to go for me.

Is topping worth it?
