Is this gonna be an issue?

My dry room has a mobile a/c unit that seems to zap the moisture right tf out of the room while it's on. Drags the RH down to about 43 while on. (On for about 10 min)

While the a/c is off the evap humidifier brings the RH up to 63 for about 15-20min before the a/c kicks back on.

If I wanted to avg things out it's at 53RH on the low. But I am uncertain if these dips are acceptable or if it's gonna mess everything up.

Well, it's better to have a dry dry-room than a really humid dry-room. Is the air conditioning unit a fixture of the dry-room, or is it for occupants in a household room that doubles as a dry-room?

Assuming that the a/c unit is for the drying set up, you might want to invest in a device that gives you greater control over humidity.

No, not a permanent fixture. It's made by Midea and is a 14k btu mobile unit. Room isn't for people. Just something we had and tried to make use of it.

Feel like the right approach would be to invest like you said. Probably get a wall unit, cut a hole in the building and slap her in.

Can't really invest atm which is a bummer and can't afford to lose the crop either. Any low cost suggestions?

I appreciate the clarification. Please forgive me if that seemed ridiculous, but I know people that attempt to dry weed in any typical room.

So, I recommend getting a dehumidifier without temperature control. You'd have more stability when it comes to humidity. If you still wish to control temperature in the room, it might make sense to increase airflow rather than cooling with an a/c unit.

I looked up the device you showed me, and I couldn't find any feature that allows you to control humidity. Even if you add moisture, this machine is designed to fight you to reach its programmed setting.

There's a small possibility that you could remove the unit and compensate with increased airflow. How hot would it get without air conditioning?
