People also will feel more satisfied when they are eating properly Eating junk doesn't give your body what it needs so it stays hungry. Proper nutrition goes further in satisfied eating.

yeah was gunna mention that, thats another thing, they eat mcdonalds and are hungry again in a few hours so they eat more , which is why i said "cannot do math" its easier to eat lentils , rice, andsome veg and chicken and feel fuller for cheaper than mcdonalds, and than eat again in a another few hours

There's no money in cures, but a ton of it in treatment.
Uh huh. This is a pet peeve of mine. Have you seen how many "cancer treatment centers" are popping up? They are state-of-the-art facilities, their sole purpose being to sell you the latest/greatest/most expensive chemo drugs.

There is plenty of money in raising money for cancer too. Breast cancer awareness? I'm pretty sure everyone is aware of breast cancer.

Pediatric Cancer research gets about the tenth of funding breast cancer gets too.

Also pain management centers are booming. Alot of the patients would rather not change their diet and get those narcos. It's a damn shame.

i said "i wouldn't eat that if it was free, its reconstituted meat" the chap hadn't got a clue, so i gave him the heads up,he then changed his, other people in the que had overherd me, some of them were chucking packs of ham on the sweet shelves to get rid of them before they got to the checkout

I don't eat junk food or much processed food. We grow most of our vegetables and I make everything from scratch. Not to jinx myself but it's been years since I had a cold or the flu.

Due to eating healthy foods I don't look anything like others my age , at almost 40 I look 25 while having the physique of an 20 year old .. My doctors always ask about my diet as I am rarely ill to be honest ...

When I do eat processed foods I pay the price and feel like shit to be honest . I am so grateful to have been raised as I was , and I think 420god is feeling the same .. Most of us Native Americans are Diabetic at a young age due to poor diets and excess starch in processed foods . I escaped this thus far but I do eat Fry Bread lol when I make it or find it ..

I agree. We're about the same age, and I feel like absolute garbage when I eat fast food now.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy nut, I would say it goes a step farther. It's very profitable to stuff us all full of processed shit and keep us fat and sick. In developing countries there is no such thing as high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, etc. In our culture it seems like every person has some type of food borne ailment, and there is a pill to treat the symptoms of each and every one of these ailments.

Food/pharmaceuticals/health care are all intertwined, and are VERY big business. How much money would be lost if we all ate right, exercised, and were the models of health?
I challenge the bolded. cn

Don't even get me started. I love mutton and fresh roasted green chilis inside a fry bread. Or a nice Navajo Taco or accompanied with mutton stew or with honey.... Sometimes (on very rare occasions) I make small fry breads and use them as burger buns. I have to stop talking about this or I'll go make a batch right now. It's a horrible addiction. :p

Challenge away.

Are you suggesting that high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease are NOT related to the food we consume?
No, I believe he wants specific developing countries so he can check the facts against the bolded claim.

My wife loves shrimp and she kept buying the wheels of farmed shrimp "because it's a good deal". I bought a wheel of fresh caught, same size, and the difference in quality was unbelievable. Sure it cost more, but nothing compared to the cost in health/healthcare. She will NEVER buy that farmed shit (literally) again. I have spent a few hundred hours researching other countries, and read a lot of expat blogs/forums. Without exception they ALL say how much their health improved after a few weeks of not eating US food.
