I recently got some pot that had about 1 seed per 3-4 g's and it was potent as fuck. Hope you fare well!
I just saw yours were dark though, these were always white and I could usually squish them in my fingers.

usually if the beans are dark, you lose some potency. but if that shit is dank anyways maybe it could be a fun and great idea to grow those beans out and be your own breeder for a change. even if they are white you never know. Me personally I will pay to have the breeder do their best then pop those.

Oh that's was a little slimy nug I sat on in my pocket all day lol. This is my 2nd grow and I am really pleased with how my first has turned out. 220g of nice quality chunky sticky well structured buds! My biggest plant so fat in 2 years of growing. Thrilled. Thundercat thankyou for your advice you was spot on with leaving it for another 3 weeks, I still have 2 left and I am leaving them another 14 days !

Aa you can see the last 2 weeks they have started to swell just like you said.. when you think your plants are done as a beginner grower they always have atleast 3-4 weeks left, I have learnt that never for sure and will never chop early ever again.

Hope there isnt mold tho thats worrying me now, as there are massive, and a few buds I'm curing now are difficult to cure..having to burp for a long while just became very sticky. Most potent weed I've grown by far
If they are staying that moist in the jar they weren't dry enough in the first place. WHen you put them in jars they should ideally be about perfect to smoke. Sealing them in the jar should keep it that way. You don't want to have to burp them a ton. I don't burp jars at all. I got over that idea a long time ago. I remove all the fan leaves and hang dry my plants or branches depending on how big they are. They hang dry for 10-14 days until the stems kinda snap. Usually the very outside might feel slightly crispy on the tips, but the inside will still be soft. I snip them off the branches and into a paper bag. They stay in the bag for another 4-7 days usually. I shake them around once a day and check on them. The point of the bag is to even out that moisture in the buds and finish the drying and start the curing. Once they are dry to the point that they smoke properly they get trimmed up if needed and put into jars or bags. If you do it right then you will never need to burp a jar again.

Awesome advice, but that doesn't fully work for me here in CO. I would love to be able to hang that long, but even with a humidifier in a separate closet kept at 50% mine dry way faster since they still need a little fresh air, and so I need to put them in jars sooner and do more burping. Paper bags come in handy too. It's 12% RH in my bedroom right now to give you an idea. Ever since I ran one of my exhaust hoses outside the RH is crazy dry. Both my veg tent and flower closets have a RH that's reading less than 10% right now, it says "LL", lol.

Suppose it's all personal preference to a certain extent, I have left the lids off over night in the dark and there ok to shut now, it's the chunky colas that are getting sticky the average nugs are fine

It’s all about environment for sure. I’ve dried in lots of different environments and just have to watch the moisture levels and make adjustments to the tech. If you are drying to fast the. Don’t take the fan leaves off the plant, just hang it totally whole and that will slow down the process. The extra fan leaves and water in stems will definitely slow it down. That’s the oldest most effective way of slow drying. I’ve had to modify what I do because I live in high humidity areas.

In reality though if you were able to control the environment you could dry the same way.... maybe use a smaller room that could be closed up more to hold more humidity? The plants put off a decent amount of moisture while drying, which is the point of the air flow. To keep the air from being moist and stagnant in the drying space. If you could seal the space up more or use a smaller space it would be easier to dial things in.

The slower the dry the better the flavor and smell. I’m really not a fan of putting damp buds in jars. When I did try that tech years ago it NEVER gave me a better product then a long slow dry.

I use a spare closet, but I leave the door cracked a tiny bit to allow some fresh air in. You think I should fully shut it? My weed turns out pretty good how I've been doing it. Smells and tastes pretty bomb. Maybe it could be even better though.
