Well this has been about a constructive as I thought it would be from this forum. Guys. I understand that this is not a good medium for seedlings. I'm not ignorant. However I use what I have available to me at the time sometimes, for various reasons. Like I said I have 3 other seedlings doing just fine and have brought 7 other plants from seed to harvest using the same medium for seedlings. Do I want to use something better in the future? Yes, of course I do. But this is what I'm working with right now so let's focus on what I'm actually asking.
If you understand this medium is not ideal for seedlings then surely you understand that every plant is different and may or may not like your soil that by your own admission isn’t ideal for seedlings?
That being said I haven’t read any information about what you’ve been feeding? What your not so ideal soil contains already as far as nutrients are concerned? What lighting you are using over this seedling? What temp and RH you’re achieving?
so for someone who wants help all you’ve actually done with your first post is antagonise rather than explain what you’ve got going on with this one up to now.
Shot in the dark,
your soil might be too rich for this plant.
your lighting might be too strong for this plant.
your temp and RH might be out of whack for this plant.
you may have caused too much damage to this plant.
with all the finite information you’ve provided to your thread that’s about the best I can offer you.
