Is My Plant Growing?

I can't even tell which is the retart

Does any one have input on helping me take better pictures... Should i take them a couple minutes before the lights turn on will that help... I would love to be able to see the resin glands that are starting to form on the new growth. My pictures just seem fuzzy or blurred. Thanks Og

Just took these made some adjustments on my camera

My taller plants buds kind of smell a little funky im scarred it might be mold but my other plant smells good what could be going on

New pictures 6 weeks of 12/12... the taller plant doesnt have resin glands forming on new growth like the small plant and has a strange smell. Could it be a strain that takes longer than 8 weeks... does the small plant look like it will be ready in a couple weeks still dont have a way to see glands magnified some of the pistils are changing color. please let me know what you think.
