That's why you wait to sell your crappiest OD until july, when everything goes for 26-28.

Dang, only ever got $1900 for stuff that tested @ 18% THC in July.
you should be able to get 28 in july for stuff that tests 18% as long as it looks reasonably decent. Shop around more, ask for more money, don't use the word "outdoor" when you're selling it, act like it's the greatest bud on the planet when you go in there, if they say no just smile and say "ok. no problem", if they say something like "can you take 22" you say "sorry, I've got a better offer", if they don't go for any of that say "thanks. have a nice day" then take it somewhere else.

I've sold some very questionable packs in the summer for 26. You shouldn't take 19 for anything. The longer you wait past April, the better. Just make sure it's all sold by sept 1!

I just told the little prick who keeps bringing up Cali prices that if he wants to get weed from Cali then he should go buy it and bring it back.

He comes by in an hour to pick up 2#'s instead.

Always looking for a new buyer, but at the same time, California has become a swear word when it comes down to pricing. Thanks for the updates from out that way everyone.... :)

Thanks for that jar link! :D
I was using Ball half gallon jars. One day I counted them and discovered I had well over 100 jars. Keeping track of that many jars became very tedious so I decided to go out on a quest to find jars that could hold a full pack.

I'm actually considering drawing up a logo/graphic for each strain I grow, printing it out as a sticker and putting on the jar. Then vending the bud while it's still in the glass jar. Bud in a big jar looks SOOOOOO much better than bud in a turkey bag. I'm thinking I could ask for more $$ with the better presentation.

Indeed, thanks! Can we see a pic of your jar room? :) :)
That might open me up to certain legal issues I don't need ;)

It's also my drying room and after the chaos of harvest, it's really messy and I'm embarrassed to show it

I'll show it after my next hydro harvest in Feb. I've usually got my shit together better by that time of the year.

You watched weed wars. They just dump the jars into a bag anyways. I used to do what you describe, the dispensaries were not into it because they need the whole system standard, which means weighed and bagged.

hmmm. I think I'm just going to try it out and bring turkey bags with me. The bud looks so much better in a glass jar than in a bag!

If they want me to put it in a turkey bag, no problem. But first impressions are powerful. If a buyer's first thought is "that looks great", he's going to be more likely to give you want you want for it even if he doesn't want to keep the jar.

I totally dry on quick cure racks. No stem what so ever as it comes out of the Samuari trimmer.
After bone dry I put into 1lb seal a meal packs.

Often I toss in Bovida cigar humidor packs.

Never had issue. Only issue I had was one mason jar was tight on the bottom and it got bad and I tossed the jar.
I agree mason jars are good only for pickels.

I have some 2.5 gallon gars also.

I found these jars at Walmart. I made seals from toolbox liner (neoprene) that I found at Sears. I like these much better than Ball-type jars for drying, curing, and long term storage
