Is 4 feet enough height??

So I’m thinking about setting up a vertical double stack rack 4x8 so one 4x8 on the top level and another 4x8 at the bottom level. So it would be 4 led lights one light per 4x4 area only issue is my height only going to able to have 4 foot of height per area. The question is do you guys think 4 feet is enough height to veg and flower in. Led lights will be dimmed down and able to be around 6-12inches away from the tops. Do you guys think this is a good investment or just stick to single level and only one 4x8 table. I’m trying to do more plants and less veg time so I can get through all my cannarado gear.

Was thinking the same thing but figured its not worth the trouble, lights side by side would be easier. Or one as veg and one flower light. Pot height plus plant would make it difficult, imo.

Check out @zypheruk 's thread below for some short plants, low height growing inspiration.

You can grow a monster plant in a short stubby grow. I quadline my Purple Urkle and kept her under 23” (minus the one main colas) I grew her to a total of 609g wet in 4x4x6.5 tent with 7 other plants. I just don’t know if stacking tents would be your best option

you could grow some stubby auto flowers and then maybe. dont dim your light except for babies. Full throttle after that.
dimming is necessary trust me. I already went through that full blast 100% on the led plants did not take it well at all. Looked like they had cal mag problems but it was actually too much light. All the leaves turned pale yellow and had brown spots the minute I bought a dimmer a week later all the plants came back to life. Dimming is necessary the only time you don’t dim is if your using co2 other wise your just wasting electricity your plants won’t uptake all that light. You could hang it 20inch-24 inch’s above and if you have no dimmer.
