Interesting Pictures...

I Thought this was very interesting. These are pictures of branches cut off from the bottom of a flowering plant, it was 2 weeks into flower when they were cut. They had been set into a bottle with water, not knowing what was going to be done with them. they have been sitting there for close to 60 days now under 12/12 HPS light.

I cant believe it has lasted this long and is budding with new pistils and dieing ones and everything. Nice resin productions for something with zero roots.

I noticed the bottle is not clear, as in light can not penetrate it. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Anyways, right on!

I broke my cola off over the summer and had placed it in muh bong (avatar) It ended up growing a bit more...

This same thing has happened to me. It was a failed cloning attempt the damn thing wouldnt root but WOULDNT FRIGGIN DIE either lol. good stuff

cool, must be sucking whatever nutes are in the leaves and stem and putting that energy into flowers. are you putting and nutes in the bottle?

My first ever grow I used bag seed and got some great buds, so I decided to clone a few lower branches. Anyway I had them in the pellets for about 2-3 weeks before they actually started to root! so maybe its just the constant moisture that it's exposed to, and also the light.

Yes Im sure there is no roots. Yes I did start adding tiny bits of nutrients later on from leftover from waterings to add into the bottle to see if I could boost its growth a bit. I cant say it did much. I have since ripped those buds off and smoked them. They weighed a .8 hahaha. Got me stoned. It was very neat to see that a branch could finish its job, with no roots, mainly in just plain water. This is a cool experiment for someone to try.

Looks nice but I'm afraid when all is dry and cured, you wont have a whole lot of bud left to smoke :(
