Well, it works with roses and most other flowers. You can clone like that if you want to. Just take a cutting, and put it in a cup of water next to the window. It will grow roots as long as the container is dark. It will usually stay alive either way.

You should do a journal with that cut, starting now if you have the time.
I'd definitely watch!
