The state can not check on anyone in the sense of inspection , they could inspect a caregiver or patient for paperwork trails if they are suspicious but in the end they have no jurisdiction over grows if this is what your asking . LEO will gladly inspect any and all gardens discovered , they need a warrant but will sweet talk there dirty selves in often not .

I've been told lansing requires inspections for caregivers to make sure things are all on the up and up. i heard way back when owosso was trying to do this too i think. I'm outside city limits so i don't worry but i know a ton of people inside city limits that just never made the call and inspected it their damn selves. i know i don't want my grow burning my house down so i did it right but i do know from working at the shops a lot of people DONT do it right. extension cord city. running all over there house. 2 year olds bombing through. not a good representation of our community.

im a little torn on inspections as for some it seems its a must to make sure its done right but for others (most of us) it seems like its redundant and intrusive.

I know i don't wanna be on the city list as "grow room inspected" thats for sure tho.

Nobody deserves inspections period. That's called a raid. NO, Lansing does-not require inspections for caregivers.

Maybe if the Feds and the local Leo actually followed the laws and guidelines voted on by the people I might not actually mind being labelled "passed inspection" but we know that's not reality now is it
