Inkbird humidity not working

I have just got the inkbird humidity controller and I’m having problems with it ! I went though the setting using a YouTube video and it should be dialled in ok... but the humidifier doesn’t come on.
I have my target humidity at 64% with a humidifier and dehumidifier plugged in with 3% either side, the humidifier comes straight away at 61 and turns off when at 64 but the dehumidifier doesn’t turn on at 67. It tries to as you can see on the pic the display comes on and it also beeps but then it doesn’t come on and the display goes off again. Also when the dehumidifier is actually on the display is blue LED but when it comes up and doesn’t work with the inkbird it’s not blue LED. I then turn it on manually and it turns itself off when it gets back to 64, so it turns off basically fine but not on again! Help anyone ?

Do what was suggested. Your dehu may not have autostart and may require you to press the button after a loss of power. If you just turn it on plugged straight into the wall, then unplug it and plug it back in, then it won't work like that because it requires someone to press the power button after power is restored.

If you plug your dehum into wall socket(after being off for a few mins) does it start running or just power on ???
Ahh it just comes on like in the picture when I do that. And I tried it on all settings. You think maybe it’s juts the design? Man that sucks so bad, I’m transitioning over to a sealed room so looks like I’m buying another one any recommendations that won’t do what this one has?
