injunction/court case updates

starting to think? it will only cost $2. i would suggest it.
the injunction stays as is...sadly. Phelan said there wasn't really anything new so Manson was right.
i keep saying it but he should have stayed at the Supreme level. he asked an equal judge to over rule...that doesn't bode well. if he stayed at the Supreme, there wouldn't be a problem over ruling the lower judge
I ensured my pinks were still valid until the end, so I didn't think I needed the goldstars.
I am starting to have doubts.

Goldstars goes for 20 points whereas Allard goes for 4. Goldstars are after repeal and not any regime...if we win, you get to use what what when you want it

what I cant figure out is why allard is so big and might choke due to the man conroy, but a 2$ filing will do better??? it don't seem right? conroy shouldn't be a lawyer if he fucks this up!

^^exactly.

If Phelan fucks the dog again and sides against us again the goldstars are up to bat. If you dont file goldstars you will be left out. If goldstars win it would be along the lines of a section 56 for each applicant. You wouldnt have tedious renewals, you would be struct from the CDSA in regards to marijuana and you would be allowed to grow and process your own.

Sometimes you never know whos actually on these forums, maybe even the next Allard ;)

@bigmanc is right.
Goldstars goes farther than Allard. why? i have no idea why Conroy decided to just go after 4 points.
why didn't Conroy stay with the appeal in the higher court where he had those judges wondering why people were left out...they agreed with our side so much that they asked for Manson's' reasoning...then he filed a discontinuance so it screwed us...he also didn't ask for immediate relief. that would have taken only 3 days to have been heard. if he did that, we could have been given our gardens back months ago!
until i got more involved, i thought Conroy was 100% on our side but now I wonder how much he's on it. is he just out for a paycheque? when the new appeal got dismissed, it was with costs so a whack of our $$ went there. it seems to me that Conroy is taking baby steps when he could be walking. that's the part i really don't understand...why is he moving so slowly? i know it takes a while for judges to make decisions but he's not asking for things to speed us up

are you people for real?
The man is fighting the battle of the century.

ungrateful bunch of...

...plain and simple people. If you are sick and need meds. GROW IT!!! Get Growin! Do what you need to do!
Don't wait for Rona to ok you ........
ungrateful?...uhm, you migt want to check things a bit more. while he is fighting for us, he could have done a more effective job...like asking for immediate relief or staying in the higher court for the injunction variance where he had sympathy there but instead he filed a discontinuance and filed in a lower court. that is baby steps where he could be taking full strides.
you are entitled to your opinion but don't call people ungrateful. Conroy could have done a better job. i am thankful he is doing it for sure but i wish he didn't drop the ball on the variance.
saying "just grow it! don't let them tell you what to do" is so much easier said than done. i would LOVE to be able to do that but where and how? i don't have the $$ to put a grow together nor do I have the space...I do have someone willing to do it for me but that has to wait for Conroy as these people have families and won't jeopardize that....if the cops come a knocking, you still lose your meds and equipment....even if you win, you are out of commission for months

Conroy needs to move over and let Tousaw take care of this. Appreciate the work Conroy but you fucked 18,000+ left outs.
Conroy needed 1 more plaintiff -one who is current and needs to make changes to their license...if he had done that, there wouldn't be any left outs unless their let their papers lapse.

I see a man doing a job no one else could do and of course, not everyone will like it.
I see people trying to explain what he did when they are not lawyers or understand where he is coming from.
What I said, wasn't directed at you.
By the time the dust settles. It'll be legal! I think Conroy expects that actually.
Ya I could be wrong.

I wish i still saw it the same way you do. I dont think conroy gives a rats ass if it were legal or not. Infact him and the rest of the greasy league of bandit lawyers stand to make way more money the longer this all takes. On every level the bs is shining through and all i see are alot of already rich people standing around with their hands out.

i didn't take it as directed at me.....i get very frustrated when someone says "he's doing his best" but he could be moving a lot faster. he didn't ask for immediate relief and discontinued his stuff at the higher court where those judges didn't get where Manson was coming from and agreed that all MMAR's should have relief...that's why they sent it back for clarification...then Conroy stopped going down that route-that was the higher court-and goes to the lower court that doesn't really have the power to over rule the equal judge. very frustrating. i don't understand why he discontinued at the higher level nor why he didn't ask for immediate relief..

Im far from brain washed.
This whole situation has thoroughly disgusted me. For the past few weeks i hardly looked in this section because i was so sick of it all.
Couldnt handle reading one more article about just how much money is being wasted by people asking permission for a harmless plant.

Directed at me? He may care but not as much as he once did. Any lawyer would do it it was just the lawyer Wilcox confronted.

May I suggest that what JC has done and is doing is a coordinated effort with the Cdn govt.
Let that thought sink in for a sec....
It wouldn't be the first time "compromises" were made by lawyers when dealing with HC ( A Young for example )
