Indoor RDWC Grow - Failure at every turn

Don't add ANYTHING organic to RDWC. BiIiIiIiIiIig no NO.

Bro. R/o. Flora Trio. CaliMagic. H2o2 29%. COUPLE DROPS (like 1/gal) of superthrive if you want. THAT'S IT.
 
Okay.
Im worried though that the roots with the left over bits of rot/algae on it will re-infect my system.
Do you think the h202 will keep it at bay?
 
Lowes has an under sink r/o system that holds like a gallon and a half at a time for like $150. Buy it. Just get a tote and a vinyl tube, connect it to the new ro spout and just leave it on for a few days to collect in the tote. I elevate mine to where I can put 5 gal jugs under it and installed a spigot in the bottom of a corner and angled the tote to drain to that corner. I basically have r/o on tap. ;)

Nah man. Ive moved from the country to city.
No more rain/tank water.
I fee like that tank water was like liquid gold considering how well my first grow went ( White buckets + Temps exceeding 96 degrees and no bacterial/fungal/algae problems at all. Pulled ~ 10 OZ from 2 auto plants)
Im even considering driving back there filling up a 60 L drum, and using it as its own "additive" to my RO water back in the city hahahaha.

Hey man, I bought an RO/DI system about a month ago, I used it for my last grow (Which also failed haha).
I used straight up tap water this time and bubbled it for the last 18 hours to rinse the chlorine out. Im currently filling up a 20L container with RO water to add to my system so lower the PPM a tad. I rinsed the roots as you said, and ive got the system flowing with a very weak nute solution (350 ppm).

350 ppm is not weak. That's damn near half strength.
 
OK I had the same problem in my dwc I started using the hberg tea and haven't had a problem with the root rot since but add a shit load every other day or so to over populate the bad seems to be working well for me I use a gallon of water half a teaspoon of great white 1 tea spoon of molasses unsulferd and 1/2 a cup of ewc bubble it for 24 hours and I use a cup per gallon at first then a cup every other day I dulte that gallon into 5 gallons so it lasts longer works good
 
My setup is a single 17 gallon tot with 16 dwc site with top feed till well rooted 4 air stones so should work for u as well
 
Also are the nutes ur using dark cause on this run I'm on I thought the tea wasn't working I had like black slime all over the roots I just rinsed them off and there all pearly white just was stained some nutes and teas will do this

Hey man, nah my nutes are very clean. Dutchmaster seem to have very clear water-like nutes. Doesnt really stain.

Where does your air pump set? I read on icmag to only pump into the brain bucket. On the flip side of that I also read you really only need fast moving water. I personally use hydro halos and no air pumps. When was the last time you cleaned your air pump filter? On a side note I have yet to read a thread on Dutch master without the attributes your enduring. In real life I watched a friend suffer the same issue with ebb and flow bucket system utilizing Dutch master. Your base is 150 ppm. Have you had it to a lab? What ec do you run?

Yo.
I have 2 air pumps.
1x 4-Port Air pump at 10 LPM into each site.
1x 2-Port Air Pump at 12 LPM into the control bucket.
Really, everyone you know with dutch master had problems?
I bought AN Jungle-Juice 3 part, which I used last grow and I had the same problem as I do now.
SO I dont think its the nutes per say.

I havn't had my tap water to a lab...its just you're every day town water.
Comes out about 130 ppm, after bubbling for 24 hours before use out it comes down to ~ 110-120 ppm.

I use a mix of RO/DI and tap water. Usually 50/50. So my base ends up being around 50 ppm.
I then PH adjust it to 5.8.
Usually is about 70 ppm after adjusting.
I then add nutes.

At the moment im only running 350 ppm. (Dunno what EC that is)
 
Didn't realise you could have too much turbulence...

I turned the site pump to just below 1/2 setting, so each bucket is probably only getting about 4 LPM now.

I dont know why people keep saying this...lol
My first grow had high temps and was successful.
Now I have an auto chiller, water temps are generally around 64-66. Never higher than 68.
