Inda-gro Induction...

Hey y'all
this shit is funny to read. You all have good points even BRother j. I have used t5s and 1000w hps(6 in my flower room) for several years and like I said in my first post I will use nothing but indagro 420s now that I have seen the light. But I would be vey careful buying a light from china. Think about it bro,it's probably some little kid making the light you want to buy in some fucking sweat shop. Do you want to support that? That being said and I hate to bring this up but the bulbs that indagro uses are from china I believe but anyways in my experience you get what you pay for when buying lights and in these days and times I would rather give my money to people that live in the USA.

My Final thoughts for the night
indagro lights are the shit and I don't mind paying for something that pays for itself on its first run and gonna be around for a long time to come. To me that's a good deal so I'm tired of hearing people say that they are to much $ or unproven. They are proven as spliff ,myself and a few others have the pics that show big ,dense and frosty buds and my plants have never been heathier do to this light. Thnk about all the people that use these lights that don't post stuff on the Internet They are probably too busy growing dank ass meds than arguing on some forum. I might catch some shit for this but as far as all the questions about the indagro lights nut up and buy one and try it for your self like I did. They preform like advertised. They are the shit. Peace out fellow indies
P.S brother j you spend that $189.00 on a tattoo of the indagro logo and take a picture and send it to darryl he might give you a free 420. I wouldn't bet on it but it's a safer bet than buying that light from china. Haha whatever I'm just kidding I'm just real bored tonight and thought I would stir the pot

Finally opened my Pro 200 PAR and noticed they are now adding the new insulator:

If a strong, cool stream of air is directed at the reservoir the lamp may not operate at full intensity.

The insulator is added to prevent that.

Darryl told me not to flower with.the par 420 if im not vegging with one of the inda gro lights. I won't like the final results. He said if I buy 2 he will discount $30 on each. Thats rediculous. that completely turned me away. So im sticking to par t5 and my apollo led. I still get great results with very low heat and watts and with the apollos I can cover same area for $200 less. Maybe when the price comes down I can afford more than one. I might go for it then.

You guys that do have it. Keep rockin and happy growing..

If you're planning on keeping your veg and flower areas separate and putting a 420 in to replace a new 1000 watt HPS then you're likely to only get about 75% of the weight you're used to. The best results really do occur when you don't have a spectrum shift between veg and flower. Why would you want to use a 420 for flower only since the 420 will out veg the T5's as well? To each his own I guess.

Well I have par t5's in veg ( aquarium bulbs). Im adding to flower. I cant afford a 2 ig lights. I can afford one par 420 ($850) or 2 apollo 8's ($641). The par 420 is full spectrum. So is my t5. So I dont understand how there would be a spectrum shift....

Maybe I misunderstood, if the T5's are already full spectrum than I presume you're currently using the T5's in flower and maybe running the apollo LED panels as supplement lighting to the T5's during flower only? If that's the case and it's working why change anything?

Im flowering with both. No supplementing. Im spreading the lights over too much area with one t5 and one led. So im getting more lights. I planned on getting 2 more led's. Then I got hooked on this thread. But im probably still going the led way. I can cover a 4x4 with 2 apollo 8. I do a 6x6. . I replaced a 1000w hid. Just didnt have enough money to buy more than one led at that time. I was going to use money from the sale of my 1000w so I could originally buy 2 led.. Its been hard trying to sell it. My frends that do want it . They want the light on the front. Im getting a good commission check next month. So looking at options... I basically will have $1000 to play with, that doesn't have to go to bills or maintaining my garden.....

Not a 420 Indago hater by any means (well, price) but chaz, you got any proof that a 420 will out veg a T5?

I have a Quantum BB HO; 4 ft X 8 bulb (432w) I use aquarium bulbs to provide max veg spectrums and get excellent results in a 2 X 4 area. Do you really think I am leaving > 10%-20% on the table? Even if it was 20%, the cost differential doesn't make up for it IMHO

105 here in SoCal yesterday, used 60 kWh's with one Pro 200 PAR and A/C running.

60 * .32 kWh = $19.20 :(

To be clear, it's not the Inda-Gro, it's the A/C.

Pro 200 PAR * 18 hours = 3.6 kWh * .32 = $1.15
Pro 420 PAR * 12 hours = 5.0 kWh * .32 = $1.61

Now you know why some of us are sensitive to power usage.

btw

My buddy loves it in Utah, $.09 kWh, flat rate, no damn tiers.

No worries. I can share this with you Inda-Gro 420 on the top shelf vs T5 on the bottom shelf.

Blue Sugar (Blue Dream & Sugar Kush) run

Top Shelf (Inda-Gro 420) Rooted in 8 days showed white roots and thicker ready for transplant in 14 days with tighter internodal spacing and darker fuller leaves. I had to remove the humidity dome on the Inda-Gro babies as they outgrew it.

Lower shelf (T5) Rooted in 11 days ready for transplant in 21 days.

Pet is talking about with the high par aquarium bulbs. With 460 and 450/660 bulbs mine takes off like crazy. Your comparison does not use the same bulbs. It has the crappy stock 6500k bulbs. So that comparison does not apply to what pet is saying.

My clones root in 7 days under a 4ft single bulb stock 6500k t5.........

Then 7 days in a half gal pot. Then 5-6 weeks in a 2 gal. Then 1-2 weeks in a 5 gal then flower. Thats doing main-line method.

Well if that works for you than great. The T5 lamps I had been using on the lower shelf are 4 of a GE Starcoat and @ $15 ea. I wouldn't call them cheap wtf is that all about? I truly could give a shit what you grow with.

Ge starcoats sell for $9 at sears and not really that good except for the 4100k ones. Those are harder to find. My ati aquablue specials -$18, true lumen 460 - $15, zoo med flora sun - $15. With free shipping too.

No need to be bitter about that. I didnt say they were cheap. I stated that they were crappy and they are.

Hortilux hps bulbs are a $100. Not cheap. But still crappy.

Thought this video was pretty cool, sheds some more light (pun intended) on induction technology, interesting theory about the plants adjusting to the wider spectrum after the second and third generation, they called it the Emerson effect, check it out:

Sativa ; Too Funny! Never argue with your grandpa! I like that video as it does show the behind the scenes stuff you normally don't get to see. Especially in American manufacturing. Thanks for posting it.

Hyroot; not bitter just had a fucked up day dealing with the ex. This is a bitch I used to worship. Any hew I'll get over it. Time heals all wounds right?

Spliff:have you seen the remote drivers they're building for some kind of rack/trellis system they're doing in Europe? I don't need it but it's cool to know it can be done. Whadya think?
