That's certainly not right. What's your setup?

I'll take a stab and say it's at least not receiving sufficient light.

We need more info on lights, soil, type of seed, any ferts or nutes, how often do you water, what kind of water, etc.

There is no way that you are using a MH or HPS lighting system if they are that small and thin. CFLs maybe? My advice from what I see:

1. Add some more lighting
2. Get a better medium. Try a 3 month slow releasing nutrient soil.
3. Get a bigger pot as they will get root bound soon.
4. Don't over water. Only water when surface of the soil feels dry.
5. Look at this site. Marijuana Plants Problems - Yellow Leaves, brown spots, nutrient shortage etc. Good for a lot of problems!!

Good luck! Hopefully everything turns out okay!

i think it's not THAT bad. it's a little overwatered and looks like it could use a liitle nitrogen( i say that a lot ). the spacing isn't to bad. i've seen A LOT worse.

I know it is a lack of light, right now I only have a 15 watt CFL
I water when it needs to be watered, when the soil at the top isn't moist. I use filtered tap water that i let sit for 2 days to make room temperature.

I just now got it some plant spike nutrients and i'm soon getting the actual nutes, i just never wanted to experience the nute burn.

i didn't want to spend an overload on equiptment since I just wanted to do this as an experiment with an awesome bag i had.
but it'd be cool if i did get something out of it :D

It got a bit bigger since this, it actually growed after that picture was taken before i posted this.
i'll get a picture up in a few.

thanks for all your help ;D

Get a 3 pack of the 26 watt CFL's that say daylight 6500k and use those. They will make it grow good. What I do is use extension cords and get socket adapters that has a plug on one side and a socket for a light on the other. Then just plug those in to the extension cord and hang them over my plants.
