I'm no doctor, noobie needs assistance diagnosing plant issues

See the edge of the leave, is turned up, and intending to curl with time it will

This suggests the air is too dry, add a pot of water

2-3 pints is good, and sit it along side the plant

the leaves show an excess of nutes

I'd be potting up, however you have done

considerable diy shit on that pot suggesting you like it

so cut your nutes flush with 3 times the pot volume

with air temperate/ ph ed water allow a dim light or overnite to drain

also FFOF likes a lot of perlite add 20-30%

no further nutes until you see a positive recovery

but I'd pot up

good luck
Thank you for the advice! I'll have to try that pint of water for humidity. It's so dry here it gets pretty difficult to maintain, at least for me anyway.

i agree with RH not being too big an issue. my temp/RH meter always says Lo for humidity and i don't have any issues.

Hmm I'll experiment for a few days/week to see if there is any notable change and if not I'll take the water out.
This guy knows how to handle a fungus gnat problem... lgribble.jpg

Oh and by the way the best way to get rid of fungus gnats is to take precautions before you have them. I would put a couple of inches of playground sand on top of the soil...Just Sayin'

htgsupply.com you might be able to source locally depending where you live.

they do work well. i put it over a small aero unit (it's designed to fit on 5 gal bucket though) and it does help keep humidity up until they get roots established.

I'm not so much concerned about RH as I am with my leaves looking like shit. :wall:
it's a marathon, not a sprint! a few stumbles along the way wont' matter

one other thing to consider is that when your temps were that high, the plants' metabolism slows down which could lead to other issues like your nutes being too strong for them at that moment.

i always recommend beginners try a hempy bucket. it's simple hydro. easier than soil i think and much better results. i think its' easier to see problems and fix them quickly in hydro.

What can I say I'm a perfectionist I must have all of the knowledge now! haha. I think that once I have a grow or 2 under my belt I may be tempted to switch to hydro I just want to get some solid fundamentals down first. I'm beginning to wonder with such a short grow time, if I will even need to add nutes? Im talking maybe 4 weeks/each stage. Will the soil crap out before?

just jump right in to hydro! get your feet wet lol

i grow tomatoes outside in hempy buckets and they get huge compared to same variety in dirt.
