i have already given all of the info i am going to give to this point. is it normal for contests to announce their prizes, rules, and format before they actually start? i don't think so. and how i choose to spend my money is really no business of yours. i have spoken to the admin and thus far the contest and the format are fine. just have to iron out the final details and it get approval over the actual contest rules.

seems to me like you are the only one that has a problem with this. everyone else seems to be excited about it. maybe as a mod you should learn to read threads before commenting on them. you would clearly see the purpose of this thread as it has been stated several times.

what do you think i am doing? i am trying to plan this contest. that means getting ideas and working out the details so it does get approved. am i not allowed to talk to members of RIU about this or something?

do you know what the word logic means? i chose not to announce the prize till the actual contest thread has been posted. the admin is aware of the prize. he was notified. you just don't have the security clearance for that info yet sweety. and are you seriously commenting about what we choose to talk about in toke and talk? have you seen some of the other threads that go off in here or in the black briefcase section. this is commical. sounds to me like you are just straight hating. the whole forum is being talking about what they "want to do." if you don't like it then don't post. stop trying to ruin it for everyone else.

it has already been stated by me and by several other people that we don't have final approval yet. so thank you and quit trying to beat a dead horse.

i agree completely about thing too good to be true...i myself doubt someone will get 10k..hope someone does..it is a nice payday...but lets say nobody does get any cash...so what? who cares..you will just have couple dozen people bitching for a few weeks..it really is not a big deal, far too much has been made of this..why would the admin be involved? that makes no sense

i really can't say what it is till the site admin approves it. i don't want to tell people what it is and then something come up and the site admin not be able to approve it and then everyone will be pissed at me.

Go back and read if you really want to know! In short: it's necessary considering that the admin runs the site and might not approve of the details. Every question here has been answered more than once...

Same here! Even though I don't have a lot of money, I give away things that are high-value to me every once in a while, just because I know it will make someone else's day. Some people have figured out that it feels GOOD to give. When you have that kind of attitude and philosophy, you end up finding that you usually have more than enough.
